The Object

Verticalarranged to fit the architecture

Each Herouvillette pendant is a slim metal rod, tapered to a clear acrylic tip that diffuses the integrated LED into a soft downward glow. Choose how many rods, which ceiling plate shape, and adjust each cord individually — so the finished form can cascade, align symmetrically, or cluster as the room demands. Gold finish throughout, hardwired, dimmable on request.
Why you'll love it
  • Fully configurable — rod count, plate shape, and cord heights
  • Acrylic tip diffuses each LED into a soft downward glow
  • Gold metal finish — consistent across every element
  • Suits stairwells, foyers, and double-height dining rooms
  • Integrated LED, dimmable on request
Details

A standard hardwired ceiling install — most of it is switching off the power and matching three wires. Set your hanging height before you connect anything, and you're most of the way there.

Before you begin

  • Mounting — to a standard ceiling junction box
  • Power — hardwired to your mains supply
  • Dimming — socketed bulbs dim; integrated-LED models don't
  • Drop — arrives at 47" (1.2 m); want it shorter or longer? Just email us before it ships
  • Ceilings — flat, and most sloped (check the product specs)

What you'll need

  • Screwdriver, voltage tester, wire stripper
  • Wire nuts (included), ladder
  • Drill (only for a new junction box or non-standard ceiling)

Step by step

  1. Turn off the power — switch off the lighting circuit at the breaker, then confirm it's dead with a voltage tester.
  2. Mount the bracket — fasten the included bracket to the junction box, snug and level.
  3. Set your height — before wiring, adjust the cord, chain, or downrod to your drop and lock it at the canopy.
  4. Connect the wires — black to black, white to white, green or bare to ground. Secure each with a wire nut and tuck them into the box.
  5. Attach the fixture — line the canopy up with the bracket and fix it flush with the provided screws or caps.
  6. Add the bulbs — correct type and wattage; if dimming, check the bulbs match your wall dimmer.
  7. Power on and test.

Good to know

  • Follow your local electrical codes.
  • For high or angled ceilings, or anything complex, bring in a licensed electrician.
  • Don't over-tighten decorative parts; dust gently with a soft cloth.

The structure

Rods suspendedeach height set independently

The ceiling plate anchors the arrangement; from it, each rod hangs on its own adjustable cord. Set them all to one height for symmetry, or stagger them into a cascading drop. The gold finish and acrylic tip read the same at every length.

Innovative engineering · intelligent design
Configure it

Choose round, square, or rectangular ceiling plates in seven sizes to match your ceiling geometry.

Cascade or align

Each pendant cord adjusts independently — create a stepped drop or a flat, level array.

Acrylic tip glow

The clear acrylic end diffuses the LED source, softening what would otherwise be a bare point of light.

Frequently asked

It shines in spaces with height — stairwells, double-height foyers, tall dining rooms, and entryways where a vertical cascade of rods has room to make an impression. It also works over a standard dining table when configured as a flat array.

Yes, entirely. You choose the number of rods, the ceiling plate shape and size, and each cord's length. The finished chandelier can be a tight cascade, a symmetrical fan, or a clustered centrepiece — the configuration is yours.

Match the plate diameter roughly to the table or floor area directly below. For a dining table around 180 cm, a 60–80 cm round or rectangular plate gives balanced visual weight. For a foyer or stairwell, scale up to suit the architecture.

Round plates suit circular or square rooms; rectangular plates work over long dining tables or kitchen islands; square plates are a clean neutral choice. All shapes come in the same seven size steps, so the decision is aesthetic rather than functional.

A single pendant reads as an accent; six to twelve create a noticeable cascade; twenty or more fill a double-height void. As a rough guide, one rod per 15–20 cm of ceiling plate diameter gives a balanced density without crowding.

Yes — every cord is individually adjustable, so you can set each rod to a different height. This is what creates the signature cascade or stepped-drop effect. Adjustment is made during installation before the fixture is hardwired.

The ceiling plate mounts to a standard electrical junction box. Each rod's cord threads through the plate and is secured at the chosen height before the wiring is connected. Professional installation by a certified electrician is recommended, particularly for large configurations in high ceilings.

Yes — the scale options, the hardwired connection, and the durable gold-finished metal make it well suited to hotels, restaurants, and retail environments. Larger custom configurations are also available; contact us to discuss your project.

Each rod's acrylic tip diffuses the 3W integrated LED into a focused downward glow rather than broad illumination. A large configuration produces meaningful ambient light; a small one reads more as accent. For task lighting, pair with a secondary source.

Dimming is available on request — let us know when ordering and we'll configure the integrated LEDs for compatibility with a standard wall dimmer. Without the dimming option, the fixture runs at full output only.
