The frame and pipe are metal, finished in white or gold. The shade is acrylic, shaped with a wave contour. Acrylic is chosen here for its light weight and ability to diffuse the integrated LED into an even ambient glow without the heat risks of glass.
Ambient — soft and diffused. The wave-contour shade faces the integrated LED inward, so the light fills the shade and escapes evenly rather than casting a directed downward beam. It's comfortable over seating and bedside areas.
