Installation Guide

A standard hardwired ceiling install — most of it is switching off the power and matching three wires. Set your hanging height before you connect anything, and you're most of the way there.

Before you begin

  • Mounting — to a standard ceiling junction box
  • Power — hardwired to your mains supply
  • Dimming — socketed bulbs dim; integrated-LED models don't
  • Drop — arrives at 47" (1.2 m); want it shorter or longer? Just email us before it ships
  • Ceilings — flat, and most sloped (check the product specs)

What you'll need

  • Screwdriver, voltage tester, wire stripper
  • Wire nuts (included), ladder
  • Drill (only for a new junction box or non-standard ceiling)

Step by step

  1. Turn off the power — switch off the lighting circuit at the breaker, then confirm it's dead with a voltage tester.
  2. Mount the bracket — fasten the included bracket to the junction box, snug and level.
  3. Set your height — before wiring, adjust the cord, chain, or downrod to your drop and lock it at the canopy.
  4. Connect the wires — black to black, white to white, green or bare to ground. Secure each with a wire nut and tuck them into the box.
  5. Attach the fixture — line the canopy up with the bracket and fix it flush with the provided screws or caps.
  6. Add the bulbs — correct type and wattage; if dimming, check the bulbs match your wall dimmer.
  7. Power on and test.

  • Follow your local electrical codes.
  • For high or angled ceilings, or anything complex, bring in a licensed electrician.
  • Don't over-tighten decorative parts; dust gently with a soft cloth.

Chrome frame curves — crystal rows suspended within it

The Hearth's frame is bent stainless steel, shaped in a long arc so the chandelier sits as a sculptural object even when unlit. The crystal elements are suspended in rows within that curve, each one positioned to catch the light at a slightly different angle. The combined effect shifts as you move through the space — the fixture reads differently from the dining chair than from the kitchen end of the room.

What is the shipping timeframe?

Orders are processed within 2–5 business days. Free worldwide shipping takes 15–21 business days. A tracking number is provided once the order is dispatched.

Is installation hardware included?

Yes — ceiling canopy and all suspension hardware are included. The fixture installs to a standard junction box. Professional installation by a certified electrician is recommended.

What materials are used in the construction?

The frame is temperature-resistant stainless steel in a chrome finish. The light-scattering elements are crystal, suspended within the frame to catch and refract the integrated LED.

How do I operate the lighting modes?

The four modes — warm white, cool white, natural, and tricolour — cycle via a wall switch or the included control. Consult the included manual for the exact switching sequence.

Is the light temperature adjustable?

Yes — across the four modes you can move between warm (3,000 K approximate) and cool (6,000 K approximate) tones, or use the tricolour mode for a dynamic mix.

How energy-efficient are the LEDs?

The integrated LED runs at 20W producing 2,200 lm — a high lumen-per-watt ratio comparable to a 150W incandescent equivalent while consuming a fraction of the energy.

How long do the LEDs last?

50,000 hours. At 6 hours per day average use, that's over 22 years of operating life before the light output degrades to the point of replacement.

Is the finish resistant to fading?

The chrome finish on the stainless steel frame is temperature-resistant and fade-resistant under normal indoor conditions. Avoid abrasive cleaners — wipe with a dry or lightly damp cloth.

Can it be mounted on any ceiling type?

The Hearth mounts to any standard junction box. For sloped ceilings, contact us when ordering — we can configure for angled installation on request.

What voltage is required for operation?

90–260V — the wide input range makes the Hearth compatible with standard domestic electrical supplies worldwide without a transformer or voltage converter.
