Iron and smoked glass—two materials, two directions
Vertical and horizontal shades work together for layered indirect ambient light.

The stem and vertical shade are iron, lacquered in black with a white inner diffuser. The horizontal shade is smoked glass. The base is weighted iron for stability at 155 cm. Both shade materials are chosen for how they modify the E27 bulb's light differently.
The iron stem and base are built for long-term use — no plastic components in the structural elements. The smoked glass shade is thick enough to handle incidental contact. The lacquered iron finish resists scratching and requires no special treatment.
Yes — the lamp is designed for indirect light. The vertical shade redirects the bulb upward through a white diffuser; the horizontal smoked glass shade filters the outward glow. You never see the bare bulb from a normal seated or standing position.
The included E27 LED is rated for 50,000 hours of use. In typical residential use of several hours daily, that's well over a decade before the bulb needs replacing. Any standard E27 LED fits when it's eventually time.
No installation required — the Hasse is free-standing and plug-in. Place it on a flat surface, insert the E27 bulb, and plug into a standard wall socket. The switch is on the cord for easy on/off without bending to the base.
No. Wipe the iron surfaces with a dry cloth. Clean the smoked glass shade with a slightly damp cloth if needed. Avoid abrasive cleaners on any surface. Switch off and allow to cool before cleaning or bulb replacement.
