Texture on the wallquiet in the room

The Gennep Wall Panel is a high-density foam tile with a geometric relief surface — it adds architectural depth to a plain wall and reduces the echo in the room behind it. White from the factory, it takes any paint so the texture reads in your chosen colour. Apply with standard adhesive, no drill required. Available in multiple dimensions to tile across a full feature wall or accent a single section.
Why you'll love it
  • Geometric relief surface — adds depth to flat walls without plaster
  • High-density foam absorbs ambient noise and reduces echo
  • Paintable white surface — match or contrast any interior palette
  • Adhesive installation — no drill, no specialist tools
  • Multiple dimensions — tile a full wall or a focused accent
Details

Three ways to install, depending on your panel — nail gun, peel-and-stick, or glue-on. Pick the one that matches what you ordered.

Before you begin

  • Prep — walls should be clean, dry, and smooth; remove dust, grease, nails, and flaky paint
  • Layout — measure and mark your starting line with a level and pencil, and lay out panels on the floor first to visualize placement

What you'll need

  • Tape measure, level, pencil or chalk line
  • Utility knife or fine-tooth saw, clean cloth
  • Caulk gun (if using adhesive), rubber roller (for peel-and-stick), brad nail gun (for nail gun install)

Step by step

  1. Nail gun — for thicker or heavier panels like wood/MDF. Locate wall studs with a stud finder and mark them.
  2. Nail gun — start at the bottom corner and align your first panel to your guidelines.
  3. Nail gun — fasten into studs — nails every 12–16".
  4. Nail gun — fit remaining panels tightly together and continue fastening. Fill nail holes with wood filler or color-matched putty. Optionally, add caulk between panels for seamless joints. Leave a 1/8" gap at edges for expansion.
  5. Peel-and-stick — for lightweight panels with pre-applied adhesive. Wipe the wall clean of dust and grease and let it dry fully. Measure and draw a level starting line.
  6. Peel-and-stick — peel and place — remove the adhesive backing from the first panel, align carefully, and press onto the wall starting at one edge.
  7. Peel-and-stick — roll it flat — use a rubber roller to apply even pressure, then continue placing panels tightly against each other. Avoid repositioning — the adhesive is strongest on first contact.
  8. Glue-on — for panels without adhesive, like solid PVC, composite, or acoustic. Clean the wall surface thoroughly.
  9. Glue-on — apply adhesive in an "S" or zig-zag pattern on the back of the panel.
  10. Glue-on — press into place — align to your guide marks and press firmly against the wall. Use painter's tape to hold it if needed.
  11. Glue-on — repeat and finish — continue with remaining panels, keeping spacing even and level. Wipe away any adhesive squeeze-out with a damp cloth. Let adhesive cure 24–48 hours before applying pressure or weight.

How it's made

Relief pressed in foamstructure without weight

High-density foam is pressed into a geometric mould, so the surface has real depth — not a printed or applied pattern. The white finish is factory-primed for paint adhesion. Cut with a sharp knife to fit around corners or switch plates.

Innovative engineering · intelligent design
Three points on how it works day to day.
Sound absorbed

High-density foam reduces flutter echo and ambient noise in hard-surfaced rooms.

Paint any colour

White from the box — apply any latex wall paint to match your interior exactly.

No drill needed

Standard construction adhesive bonds the panels to most wall surfaces securely.

High-density foam with a moulded geometric relief. The foam is lightweight, firm enough to hold its shape on a wall, and factory-primed in white for paint adhesion.

Yes — high-density foam absorbs mid-frequency sound, which reduces flutter echo in hard-surfaced rooms. It is not a full soundproofing solution but makes a measurable difference to room acoustics.

Yes — the white surface is paintable with standard latex wall paint. Apply two coats for full coverage. The geometric relief reads through the paint layer, so the texture is always visible.

Apply standard construction adhesive to the back of each panel and press firmly to the wall surface. Hold for 30 seconds and support until set — no drilling, no screws, no special tools required.

Yes — use a sharp utility knife and a straight edge. The foam cuts cleanly for corners, outlets, and irregular wall sections without crumbling.

Yes — the acoustic properties reduce flutter echo effectively in recording rooms, podcasting studios, and home offices. Tile across a full wall for maximum effect.

The adhesive bond is permanent by design. Removal may damage the paint or surface behind the panel. Consider that before applying in a rental or temporary space.
