The Object

Pressed to the walllight without volume

The Fohr Wall Lamp is a single bar of matte die-cast iron — just 2.5 cm square — that runs vertical or horizontal along the wall, with an integrated LED sealed inside. It does not project; it does not call attention to itself. Seven lengths from 60 to 200 cm let you scale the light to the wall without changing the form. Warm white (3000K) or neutral white (4000K), dimmable on request.
Why you'll love it
  • Seven lengths — 60 cm to 200 cm — same slim 2.5 cm profile
  • Integrated flicker-free LED, 9–28W depending on length
  • Matte die-cast iron resists deformation and holds its shape
  • Warm white (3000K) or neutral white (4000K)
  • Dimmable on request, wide voltage 90–260V
Details

Most wall lamps are a simple bracket-and-wire job — but check your power type first, since hardwired, plug-in, and rechargeable models each install a little differently.

Before you begin

  • Dimming — most socketed lamps dim; integrated-LED models don't
  • Power — hardwired, plug-in, or rechargeable depending on the model; check your product details
  • Mounting — wall-mount, hardware included
  • Indoor/outdoor — confirm your model is rated for outdoor use before installing outside

What you'll need

  • Screwdriver
  • Wire nuts (included for hardwired models)
  • Voltage tester
  • Power drill (for new mounting locations)

Step by step

  1. Identify your power type — hardwired, plug-in, or rechargeable. Follow the steps below for yours.
  2. If hardwired: turn off the power — switch off at your main electrical panel and confirm with a voltage tester.
  3. If hardwired: remove the old lamp — unscrew it and disconnect the wires by removing the wire nuts.
  4. If hardwired: attach the new mounting bracket — align it with your junction box or marked wall location and secure with the included screws.
  5. If hardwired: connect the wires — black to black, white to white, green or bare to ground. Twist and secure with wire nuts, then tuck neatly into the junction box.
  6. If hardwired: mount the fixture — align with the bracket and secure with the provided screws.
  7. If hardwired: install the bulb — correct type and wattage, if your model uses one.
  8. If hardwired: restore power and test.
  9. If plug-in: mount the bracket — with anchors or screws, then attach the fixture and plug it into a nearby outlet. Route the cord neatly.
  10. If rechargeable: mount the bracket — with screws and anchors, fully charge the lamp with the included cable, then install it onto the bracket and power on.

Good to know

  • Follow your local electrical codes.
  • Bring in a licensed electrician if you're unsure.
  • Dust and clean your fixture regularly to keep it looking its best.

The shape

2.5 cm squareseven lengths, one form

Die-cast iron is poured thick and matte-finished — the cross-section stays perfectly square along the full length, with no visible seams or joins. The LED is integrated into the bar itself, sealed for consistent output without hotspots. Black finish throughout.

Innovative engineering · intelligent design
Three things the iron construction makes possible.
Flicker-Free

The integrated LED delivers steady, consistent brightness — no flicker, no warm-up delay.

Seven Lengths

From 60 to 200 cm — scale the bar to the wall or corridor without changing the fixture.

Cast Iron

Thick die-cast iron resists bending or deformation even in the longest configurations.

Frequently asked

Nava Decor ships worldwide with delivery typically in 15–21 business days from dispatch. You'll receive a tracking number as soon as your order leaves our fulfilment partner.

Yes — the Fohr mounts directly to a wall with the included hardware, wired to mains. Mark your fixing points, run the cable, and secure the bar. A certified electrician is recommended for the wiring step.

Very. The shortest bar (60 cm) draws just 9W; even the 200 cm version uses only 28W. Equivalent incandescent outputs would consume 4–5 times as much energy, and the integrated LED is rated for 50,000+ hours.

The minimal matte-black iron bar suits contemporary, industrial, and Scandinavian interiors best — anywhere clean lines and restraint are the goal. It also works as a quiet accent in more layered, eclectic rooms.

The bar is die-cast from thick iron stock — meaning it is poured under pressure into a mould, which eliminates weak points. It will not flex, warp, or deform even in the longest 200 cm configuration.

Yes. The integrated LED is designed for flicker-free, stable output from the moment you switch it on. There is no warm-up delay, and brightness does not vary with temperature or age in the short term.

The Fohr works in living rooms, bedrooms, hallways, offices, and hospitality environments. The neutral black finish and architectural bar form adapt to most settings without visual conflict.

Die-casting forces molten iron into a rigid mould under high pressure — the resulting bar is dense and uniform throughout. There are no hollow sections or thin-walled areas that could bow under the fixture's own weight.

Yes. The LED driver is tuned for a stable, flicker-free output — important for prolonged use in offices, reading corners, or any space where you spend extended time under the light.

Yes — plasterboard, brick, concrete, and timber stud walls all accept the standard fixing hardware included. For masonry or concrete, use appropriate wall plugs (not included). A certified electrician can advise on the fixing method for your wall type.
