The Object

Cut like a leafheld like a handle

The Fjelsted Drawer Pull is zinc alloy pressed into a leaf form with open cutouts along the length — the cutouts are decorative and reduce visual weight without affecting grip. Brushed gold finish, smooth and consistent. Two sizes: a 6 cm pull for small drawers and an 11.7 cm pull for cabinet doors and wardrobes. Fits standard screw centres.
Why you'll love it

  • Brushed gold zinc alloy — resists tarnish and daily wear
  • Two sizes — 6 cm for drawers, 11.7 cm for cabinet doors
  • Smooth grip — comfortable on small and large hands alike
  • Suits minimalist, modern, and warm-tone interiors
Details

A quick face-lift, not a rewire — you're only swapping the cover plate, but we still have you flip the breaker as a precaution.

What's included

One solid brass wall plate. No electrical components included.

What you'll need

  • Screwdriver

Step by step

  1. Turn off the power — at your circuit breaker, even though you're only replacing the plate.
  2. Remove the existing plate — loosen and remove the screws, then lift it away from the wall.
  3. Inspect the underlying devices — confirm your dimmers, toggles, outlets, or other modules are secure and undamaged.
  4. Position the brass plate — align it over the existing devices so all openings fit cleanly around the controls.
  5. Insert the screws — use the included matching brass screws, threading gently to avoid stripping the holes.
  6. Don't overtighten — snug against the wall is enough; overtightening can damage the brass or the wall surface.
  7. Check the fit — the plate should sit flush, with all device cutouts aligned for easy access.
  8. Restore power — once everything is secure and properly positioned.
  9. Final polish — wipe the brass gently with a soft cloth to remove fingerprints or dust.

On the detail

Cutouts drawnweight lifted from the form

The leaf cutouts are pressed into the zinc during moulding — not applied after. This means the edges are clean and the finish runs unbroken through the openings. Brushed gold is applied in a consistent direction so the texture reads evenly along the length.

What the zinc alloy and finish mean in daily use.
Cutout form

Leaf-shaped openings reduce visual weight without weakening the pull.

Brushed gold

Consistent directional brush — the finish resists fingerprints and dulling over time.

Two sizes

Small 6 cm for desk or kitchen drawers; large 11.7 cm for wardrobe doors.

Frequently asked

Zinc alloy — a dense, corrosion-resistant metal that holds its form and finish under daily use. The brushed gold version carries a consistent directional texture over the gold-toned surface.

Leaf-inspired, with open cutouts pressed into the length of the pull. The form is narrow and elongated — decorative without reading as ornate. It sits flat and close to the drawer face.

Brushed gold (and a grey option). The brushed texture is applied in a uniform direction, which reduces visible fingerprints and gives the surface a refined, matte-warm look.

Cupboards, kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanity drawers, wardrobes, and furniture — anywhere with a standard screw fixing. The two sizes cover most common drawer and door widths.

Yes — the narrow leaf form and brushed gold finish work well in Japandi, Scandi, and warm modern interiors where hardware is a quiet accent rather than a statement.

Yes — the smooth inner edge sits comfortably under two or three fingers. The weight of the zinc alloy gives it a solid feel that cheap pressed-steel pulls lack.

Yes — two screws through the drawer face, standard fitting. Screw centre distance is fixed; confirm the centre measurement against your existing holes before ordering.

The zinc alloy and brushed gold finish are both corrosion-resistant and hold up to daily contact. Avoid abrasive cleaners — a dry cloth keeps the finish looking consistent.

Yes — it functions as a working pull with a firm grip while the leaf cutouts add a decorative detail that reads clearly across a bank of drawers or cabinet doors.

Small: L6 cm x H2.2 cm — suited to narrow drawers and small cabinet doors. Large: L11.7 cm x H2.2 cm — suited to wider cabinet faces and wardrobe doors.
