Yes — the gold finish is treated to resist fading and thermal cycling. Crystal glass is inherently stable under temperature variation. The fixture is designed for normal indoor use where temperatures and humidity are controlled.
It hardwires to a standard junction box — ceiling or wall. The included brackets allow both orientations. We recommend installation by a certified electrician for the mains connection; the physical mount is straightforward.
