Installation Guide

A standard hardwired ceiling install — most of it is switching off the power and matching three wires. Set your hanging height before you connect anything, and you're most of the way there.

Before you begin

  • Mounting — to a standard ceiling junction box
  • Power — hardwired to your mains supply
  • Dimming — socketed bulbs dim; integrated-LED models don't
  • Drop — arrives at 47" (1.2 m); want it shorter or longer? Just email us before it ships
  • Ceilings — flat, and most sloped (check the product specs)

What you'll need

  • Screwdriver, voltage tester, wire stripper
  • Wire nuts (included), ladder
  • Drill (only for a new junction box or non-standard ceiling)

Step by step

  1. Turn off the power — switch off the lighting circuit at the breaker, then confirm it's dead with a voltage tester.
  2. Mount the bracket — fasten the included bracket to the junction box, snug and level.
  3. Set your height — before wiring, adjust the cord, chain, or downrod to your drop and lock it at the canopy.
  4. Connect the wires — black to black, white to white, green or bare to ground. Secure each with a wire nut and tuck them into the box.
  5. Attach the fixture — line the canopy up with the bracket and fix it flush with the provided screws or caps.
  6. Add the bulbs — correct type and wattage; if dimming, check the bulbs match your wall dimmer.
  7. Power on and test.

  • Follow your local electrical codes.
  • For high or angled ceilings, or anything complex, bring in a licensed electrician.
  • Don't over-tighten decorative parts; dust gently with a soft cloth.

The acrylic cap is doing the work — not the shade

There is no external shade on the Entasis Chandelier. Each arm ends in a solid acrylic cap that houses the LED and diffuses its output before it enters the room. This keeps the profile slim while maintaining the soft, directionless light quality of a much larger fitting.

Is the product compatible with my existing electrical setup?

Yes. The Entasis Chandelier operates on 90–260VAC, covering both North American and international electrical standards. It connects to a standard ceiling junction box.

How difficult is the installation process?

Installation is straightforward and follows standard ceiling fixture wiring. Most electricians complete it in under an hour. Full hardware and instructions are included in the box.

What materials are used in the construction?

The arms and canopy are iron, powder-coated in black or gold. Each arm tip is an acrylic cap that houses the integrated LED and diffuses its output into the room.

Can the height be adjusted?

Yes. The suspension wire is adjustable up to 1.5m (4.9ft), allowing you to set the hanging height to suit your ceiling and the table or surface below.

Is the Entasis Chandelier dimmable?

Dimming is available as an option. Please select the dimmable version at the time of order. The standard version operates at fixed output and connects to your wall switch.

What is the expected lifespan of the LEDs?

The integrated LEDs are rated for 50,000 hours of use. At 8 hours per day, that is approximately 17 years before the light output begins to diminish.

Are the finishes resistant to fading and temperature changes?

Yes. The powder-coat process applies finish at high temperature, resulting in a layer that resists fading, chipping, and normal indoor temperature variation over the product's lifespan.

Is there a warranty or guarantee offered?

Yes — the Entasis Chandelier comes with a 1-year warranty, extendable to 2, 3, or 5 years. Nava Decor also offers a 14-day return window for purchases that don't suit your space.

How energy-efficient is the lighting?

The Entasis Chandelier runs at 21W, 35W, or 45W depending on the head configuration, producing 2310–4950 lumens. That is efficient output relative to equivalent incandescent or halogen fixtures.

How does the light distribution affect room ambiance?

The acrylic caps diffuse each LED so there are no visible bright points — only a soft, even field of light. The effect is ambient and room-filling rather than directional, suiting dining and living spaces.
