The Object

Crystalthe light refracts before it lands

The Ediger Ceiling Light hangs tiered drop-shaped crystals from an iron frame in black or gold. The E26 bulb fires through the crystals, fracturing into dozens of refractions that scatter across the ceiling and walls. It's compact — 25 cm wide, 23 cm tall — but the light it casts fills the room with a quiet shimmer. Replaceable bulb, dimmable on request.
Why you'll love it
  • Tiered drop crystals refract and scatter light across walls and ceiling
  • Compact form — 25 cm wide, 23 cm tall — big presence in a small package
  • Iron frame in black or gold — two distinct characters
  • E26 replaceable bulb — included, standard socket
  • Dimmable on request · 50,000-hour LED lifespan
Details

A close-to-ceiling install for low-clearance rooms — power off, mount the bracket, match the wires, done.

Before you begin

  • Mounting — direct to a standard ceiling junction box; sits close against the ceiling
  • Dimming — most socketed models dim; integrated-LED models don't
  • Ceilings — flat ceilings only; for vaulted or sloped ceilings, look at semi-flush or pendant options instead
  • Power — hardwired to your home's electrical system

What you'll need

  • Screwdriver, voltage tester, wire stripper
  • Wire nuts (included), ladder
  • Drill (only for a new junction box or non-standard ceiling)

Step by step

  1. Turn off the power — shut it off at the breaker panel and confirm with a voltage tester.
  2. Remove the fixture cover — twist or unclip the outer shade or base cover to expose the mounting plate and wiring.
  3. Install the mounting bracket — attach it to the ceiling junction box with the supplied screws, secure and level.
  4. Connect the wires — black to black, white to white, green or bare to ground. Secure each with a wire nut and tuck them into the junction box.
  5. Attach the fixture base — lift into place, align with the bracket, and secure with the provided screws so it sits flush against the ceiling.
  6. Reattach the cover — twist, clip, or fasten the decorative cover or diffuser back on.
  7. Restore power and test.

Good to know

  • Great for standard or low ceilings — hallways, bedrooms, closets.
  • Confirm your junction box can support the fixture's weight.
  • Follow local electrical codes.
  • When in doubt, bring in a licensed electrician.

On the glass

Drop crystalsprismatic, not merely decorative

Each crystal is a precisely shaped drop — the geometry matters. When the bulb fires, the faceted surface breaks the light into multiple refractions that scatter across the ceiling and walls. The result is a room that shimmers rather than simply glows. Black frame reads graphic and contemporary; gold frame reads warm and classic.

Innovative engineering · intelligent design
Three things that define the Ediger.
Prismatic light

Drop crystals refract the bulb into scattered warmth across ceiling and walls.

Compact presence

25 cm wide — fills a room with light without demanding visual space.

Black or gold

Two frame finishes — one reads contemporary, one reads warm and classic.

Frequently asked

An iron frame in black or gold, with tiered drop-shaped crystals hanging from the structure. The iron is coated to resist corrosion and tarnishing; the crystals are precision-cut for consistent refractive quality.

The Ediger hardwires to a standard ceiling junction box via the 4.7" canopy. All mounting hardware is included. Professional installation by a certified electrician is recommended. Sloped-ceiling mounting is available on request.

Yes — the crystal and iron pairing works in boutique hotel lobbies, restaurant dining rooms, and retail environments where a considered, glamorous accent is appropriate. The compact size suits most ceiling heights.

A standard E26 bulb, included. It's replaceable — when it eventually needs changing, any standard E26 fits. We recommend a dimmable LED E26 if you plan to use it with a dimmer.

LED E26 bulbs are rated to 50,000 hours — at 6 hours per day, that's over 22 years. The fixture itself is built for indefinite use; only the bulb will ever need replacing.

Dust the crystals periodically with a soft dry cloth to maintain their refractive quality. Wipe the iron frame with a dry cloth. No specialist cleaning products are needed — avoid moisture on the frame.

Yes — the iron frame is coated in a tarnish-resistant finish in black or gold. The coating also resists discolouration from the heat of the bulb over long-term use.

The drop crystals refract the E26 bulb into dozens of scattered points of light that move across the ceiling and walls. The room takes on a quiet shimmer — an effect that's more atmospheric than simply bright.

Yes — the compact 25 cm diameter suits dining rooms, entryways, and bedrooms where a crystal accent light is appropriate. For larger spaces, consider using several units together.

Yes, on request. Specify dimmer compatibility at the time of order. Pair with a dimmable E26 LED bulb and a compatible wall dimmer for full control over the refractive ambiance.
