The Object

Even lightdrawn in copper and wood

The Eda Wall Lamp runs 40 cm of integrated LED along a slim copper bar detailed with a wood accent — a vanity light that doesn't compete with the mirror it serves. The linear form keeps the light spread evenly across the face, not in a spot; two earthy finishes (natural wood, walnut) suit both pale and dark bathrooms. Hardwired, IP-rated for bathroom use, dimmable on request.
Why you'll love it
  • Linear form distributes light evenly — no mirror glare or hot spots
  • Copper and wood construction — moisture-tolerant for bathroom use
  • Two finishes: natural wood and walnut
  • Integrated LED — 8W, 880 lm, nothing to replace
  • Dimmable on request — hardwired installation
Details

Most wall lamps are a simple bracket-and-wire job — but check your power type first, since hardwired, plug-in, and rechargeable models each install a little differently.

Before you begin

  • Dimming — most socketed lamps dim; integrated-LED models don't
  • Power — hardwired, plug-in, or rechargeable depending on the model; check your product details
  • Mounting — wall-mount, hardware included
  • Indoor/outdoor — confirm your model is rated for outdoor use before installing outside

What you'll need

  • Screwdriver
  • Wire nuts (included for hardwired models)
  • Voltage tester
  • Power drill (for new mounting locations)

Step by step

  1. Identify your power type — hardwired, plug-in, or rechargeable. Follow the steps below for yours.
  2. If hardwired: turn off the power — switch off at your main electrical panel and confirm with a voltage tester.
  3. If hardwired: remove the old lamp — unscrew it and disconnect the wires by removing the wire nuts.
  4. If hardwired: attach the new mounting bracket — align it with your junction box or marked wall location and secure with the included screws.
  5. If hardwired: connect the wires — black to black, white to white, green or bare to ground. Twist and secure with wire nuts, then tuck neatly into the junction box.
  6. If hardwired: mount the fixture — align with the bracket and secure with the provided screws.
  7. If hardwired: install the bulb — correct type and wattage, if your model uses one.
  8. If hardwired: restore power and test.
  9. If plug-in: mount the bracket — with anchors or screws, then attach the fixture and plug it into a nearby outlet. Route the cord neatly.
  10. If rechargeable: mount the bracket — with screws and anchors, fully charge the lamp with the included cable, then install it onto the bracket and power on.

Good to know

  • Follow your local electrical codes.
  • Bring in a licensed electrician if you're unsure.
  • Dust and clean your fixture regularly to keep it looking its best.

On the form

40 cm barlight runs the full length

A linear bar keeps the light continuous rather than centred — so the illumination falls across the whole face rather than a single spot above the nose. Copper carries the warmth of the finish; wood softens the overall profile against tile or stone.

Innovative engineering · intelligent design
Three reasons the Eda works better above a mirror than a standard bathroom bulb.
Even spread

40 cm of linear light means even coverage across a vanity mirror — no central glare.

Frequently asked

The bar is copper; the accent and mount detailing is wood — available in natural wood or walnut. Both materials are selected for their warmth in tone and their suitability in humid bathroom environments.

An integrated LED strip — 8W, 880 lm. There's no separate bulb to install or replace; the LED is built into the bar and rated for long-term use.

Yes, on request — let us know when ordering. It's configured for dimming before dispatch and works with most standard wall dimmers once wired correctly.

Wide-range, 90–260V — compatible with standard residential supplies across North America, Europe, Australia, and most other markets.

None — the Eda uses an integrated LED strip, so there's no bulb to install. It arrives complete and ready to wire in.

Two: natural wood (lighter, warmer tone) and walnut (deeper, richer brown). Both finishes work with white, cream, grey, and darker tile palettes.

Yes — the materials and construction are suited to bathroom humidity, and the fixture carries the relevant certifications for bathroom vanity use. Professional installation is recommended.

Yes — the 40 cm linear bar distributes light evenly along its length. Mounted above a mirror it illuminates the face without concentrating the glow in a single point.

Yes — the slim linear profile and natural material palette suit minimalist, Japandi, Scandinavian, and contemporary bathrooms equally well. It doesn't read as ornamental in any of these contexts.

Vanity lighting — mounted above or beside a bathroom mirror to provide even, task-quality illumination for grooming. It also works as a general accent bar in a hallway or bedroom alcove.
