The housing is copper-finished metal; the shade is glass. The combination gives the fitting warmth and even light diffusion without being heavy or imposing on the ceiling.
Physical mounting to a ceiling junction box takes roughly 20–30 minutes with standard tools. Electrical wiring connection should be handled by a certified electrician, which adds any time for their visit.
The Dispersion is rated for dry indoor use. Standard kitchen and bedroom use is fine. Avoid installation in high-humidity environments like directly above a shower or in an outdoor space.

Yes — the fixture is hardwired to mains. Physical mounting is user-friendly but wiring connection should be done by a certified electrician for safety and compliance.
Wipe the copper housing with a dry or lightly damp cloth when the fixture is off and cool. Clean the glass shade with a dry microfibre cloth to remove dust. Avoid chemical cleaners on either surface.
Yes — the E27 base accepts dimmable LED bulbs. Pair a dimmable E27 with a compatible LED wall dimmer for full brightness control. Standard non-dimmable E27s also work if dimming isn't needed.
The fixture itself is built for long-term use — copper and glass are durable materials. The E27 bulb is replaceable, so when it eventually fails (typically 15,000–25,000 hours for a quality LED), only the bulb needs replacing, not the whole fitting.
