No installation is needed. The Diffract is a freestanding lamp that sits on any flat surface. There is no hardwiring, no ceiling mount, and no tools required — charge it and place it wherever you like.
The Diffract charges via the included charging cable connected to the port on the base. Standard charging times apply; the lamp can be left plugged in during a daytime charge and then used cordlessly through the evening.
Yes. The Diffract's polymer construction is waterproof, making it suitable for covered outdoor spaces such as a terrace, balcony, or garden seating area. Avoid prolonged exposure to driving rain directly on the charge port.
Dimming is available on request at the time of ordering. When configured, brightness can be reduced from full output down to a soft ambient level, making the lamp adaptable from evening entertaining to a nightlight setting.
Colour cycling is controlled via the lamp's integrated button or the included remote, depending on configuration. Tap to step through preset hues or hold to pause on a colour. The LED cycles through a wide spectrum including warm white, cool white, and saturated colours.
No. The polymer sphere scatters and diffuses the LED output before it exits the lamp, eliminating any direct glare or hot spot. The resulting light is uniformly soft and safe for direct viewing, including in children's spaces.
