The Object

Balanced in airlike a kinetic mobile

The Dais Chandelier borrows its logic from a kinetic mobile — wood and steel arms extending outward from a central spine, each holding a white glass orb at its end. The wires run inside the arms, so the structure reads as clean parallel lines without visible cabling. Black powder-coated finish, in one, two, or three-head configurations, with warm or cool white light.
Why you'll love it
  • Kinetic mobile form — arms balance at fixed equilibrium in the air
  • Wiring concealed inside the arms — clean parallel lines
  • White glass orbs diffuse the LED into a soft spherical glow
  • Black powder-coated finish — temperature and fade resistant
  • 1, 2, or 3 heads · cord adjusts to 1 m · E14 LED
Details

A standard hardwired ceiling install — most of it is switching off the power and matching three wires. Set your hanging height before you connect anything, and you're most of the way there.

Before you begin

  • Mounting — to a standard ceiling junction box
  • Power — hardwired to your mains supply
  • Dimming — socketed bulbs dim; integrated-LED models don't
  • Drop — arrives at 47" (1.2 m); want it shorter or longer? Just email us before it ships
  • Ceilings — flat, and most sloped (check the product specs)

What you'll need

  • Screwdriver, voltage tester, wire stripper
  • Wire nuts (included), ladder
  • Drill (only for a new junction box or non-standard ceiling)

Step by step

  1. Turn off the power — switch off the lighting circuit at the breaker, then confirm it's dead with a voltage tester.
  2. Mount the bracket — fasten the included bracket to the junction box, snug and level.
  3. Set your height — before wiring, adjust the cord, chain, or downrod to your drop and lock it at the canopy.
  4. Connect the wires — black to black, white to white, green or bare to ground. Secure each with a wire nut and tuck them into the box.
  5. Attach the fixture — line the canopy up with the bracket and fix it flush with the provided screws or caps.
  6. Add the bulbs — correct type and wattage; if dimming, check the bulbs match your wall dimmer.
  7. Power on and test.

Good to know

  • Follow your local electrical codes.
  • For high or angled ceilings, or anything complex, bring in a licensed electrician.
  • Don't over-tighten decorative parts; dust gently with a soft cloth.

The structure

Arms and wiresthe wire disappears inside

The wiring runs through the interior of each steel arm rather than dropping externally from the canopy. The result is a clean geometric profile — wood, steel, and glass only visible, with nothing to interrupt the arm-to-orb line. Arms are black powder-coated iron; the glass orbs are blown in a white finish that diffuses the E14 LED source.

Innovative engineering · intelligent design
Three things that define the Dais's construction.
Hidden wiring

Cables run inside the arms — the form reads as pure geometry from below.

Soft orb glow

White glass diffuses the E14 LED into a gentle, omnidirectional sphere of light.

Frequently asked

Recommended, yes. The Dais is hardwired to the ceiling junction box, and the multi-head versions require careful balancing during install. A certified electrician is best placed to do this safely.

Wood, powder-coated iron, and blown glass. The arms are iron, the structural accents are wood, and the shades are white glass orbs that diffuse the E14 LED.

E14 LED bulbs typically last 15,000–25,000 hours. Note that bulbs are not included with the Dais — use standard E14 LED bulbs, available in any hardware or lighting shop.

Yes — the 3-head configurations reach over 130 cm in height, and the cord adjusts to 1 m beyond that. Well-suited to rooms with ceiling heights above 3 m.

Yes — the sculptural form and clean black finish translate well to cafés, galleries, offices, and hotel lobbies, not just residential spaces.

Minimal. Dust the glass orbs periodically with a soft cloth. Check arm connections once a year to confirm the fixture is secure. Replace E14 bulbs as needed.

Yes — at 10W per head, the Dais draws 10–30W depending on configuration. That's highly efficient for the amount of ambient and decorative light produced.

The warm and cool white modes are selected at installation by choosing your preferred E14 LED colour temperature — 2700K for warm, 4000K+ for cool. A wall dimmer can be added on request.

Yes — the black powder-coat finish on the iron arms is temperature-resistant, fade-resistant, and non-toxic. It's applied to hold in residential and commercial settings long-term.

Yes — the canopy, mounting bracket, and ceiling fixings are included. E14 bulbs are not included; source your preferred colour temperature locally before installation.
