The Cythera hardwires to a standard ceiling junction box — we recommend a certified electrician for the connection. Mounting the canopy and running the cord is straightforward; the electrical connection is where professional help matters.
The integrated LED is rated for 50,000 hours — that's over 17 years at eight hours a day. There are no bulbs to replace; when it reaches end of life, the whole fitting would be renewed.
