Yes — IP66 rating means it's fully sealed against dust and heavy rain, so it performs the same on an exterior façade or garden wall as it does in an interior corridor or bathroom.
IP66 — the first digit (6) means dust-tight; the second (6) means protected against powerful water jets. For most outdoor residential applications, this is more than sufficient.
Wall-mount with the included hardware — the backplate fixes to the wall, then the body clips in. Wiring is hardwired to mains. Professional installation by a certified electrician is recommended.
Yes — powder-coated aluminium is both corrosion-resistant and rust-proof. The coating also resists chipping and fading under UV exposure, so it holds its black finish outdoors.
The body is powder-coated aluminium. The diffuser lens is acrylic — this is what creates the even wash without visible LED dots. Both materials are suited for long-term outdoor exposure.
