The Object

Ironset against soft glass

The Coripe Pendant pairs a slender matte-iron frame with rounded opal-glass globes, letting a hard structural line sit against something soft and translucent. The glass fully diffuses the LED behind it, so the glow reads even and calm rather than pointed. Hang it singly or in a cluster over a longer surface.
Why you'll love it
  • Opal glass globes diffuse light into a soft glow
  • Slim matte-iron frame adds structural contrast
  • Balanced silhouette between solid form and softness
  • Suits kitchens, dining areas, and bedside settings
  • Available in three sizes with adjustable cord
Details

A standard hardwired ceiling install — most of it is switching off the power and matching three wires. Set your hanging height before you connect anything, and you're most of the way there.

Before you begin

  • Mounting — to a standard ceiling junction box
  • Power — hardwired to your mains supply
  • Dimming — socketed bulbs dim; integrated-LED models don't
  • Drop — arrives at 47" (1.2 m); want it shorter or longer? Just email us before it ships
  • Ceilings — flat, and most sloped (check the product specs)

What you'll need

  • Screwdriver, voltage tester, wire stripper
  • Wire nuts (included), ladder
  • Drill (only for a new junction box or non-standard ceiling)

Step by step

  1. Turn off the power — switch off the lighting circuit at the breaker, then confirm it's dead with a voltage tester.
  2. Mount the bracket — fasten the included bracket to the junction box, snug and level.
  3. Set your height — before wiring, adjust the cord, chain, or downrod to your drop and lock it at the canopy.
  4. Connect the wires — black to black, white to white, green or bare to ground. Secure each with a wire nut and tuck them into the box.
  5. Attach the fixture — line the canopy up with the bracket and fix it flush with the provided screws or caps.
  6. Add the bulbs — correct type and wattage; if dimming, check the bulbs match your wall dimmer.
  7. Power on and test.

Good to know

  • Follow your local electrical codes.
  • For high or angled ceilings, or anything complex, bring in a licensed electrician.
  • Don't over-tighten decorative parts; dust gently with a soft cloth.

On the glass

Opallight with nowhere sharp to land

The globe's opal glass scatters the LED evenly across its whole surface, so there's no single hot point to squint at. Paired with the slim iron stem, the fixture reads as two materials in quiet conversation — one rigid, one soft.

Frequently asked

Iron for the slim structural frame, paired with smooth opal-glass globes finished in matte black for a quiet, tonal look overall.

Yes, on request — we'll configure it to work with a standard dimmer switch so you can adjust brightness through the evening.

It uses an integrated LED, so there's no separate bulb to source or replace — the light source is built into the fixture itself.

Above kitchen islands, dining tables, or bedside settings — its three sizes let you scale from a single drop to a longer run.

Both contemporary and timeless interiors, since the balance of solid iron and soft opal glass keeps the form calm and adaptable.

Soft — the opal glass fully diffuses the integrated LED, giving a warm, even ambient glow rather than a sharp, direct beam.

A wide 90-260VAC range, which covers standard household electrical systems in most countries without any extra converter needed.

Yes, the integrated LED ships built into the fixture and ready to wire in, with no separate bulb purchase required.

The contrast between the slim iron frame and the rounded, glowing opal globe — one structural line set against something soft and diffused.

Both — a single Coripe works as a focused accent, while a cluster of two or three creates a layered look over a longer table.
