Battery run time depends on brightness setting and local light levels. At moderate output the 2400mAh battery typically powers the lamp through a full evening of use. Dimming the lamp extends run time further.
Charging time varies with sun intensity and season. Monocrystalline silicon cells are among the most efficient available, performing well even in partly cloudy conditions. Position the head to face the strongest daily sun angle for fastest charge.
No installation or wiring is needed. The Comiso is a freestanding unit — set it on any stable flat surface outdoors, point the solar panel toward the sun, and it operates entirely on its own.
