Collonges Outlet GFCI protection, quiet and flush
Coverage that ages—with the piece.
A standard 1-year manufacturer warranty is included with every fixture. Extend to 2, 3, or 5 years of total protection at checkout — and the piece is covered well beyond the install.
- Manufacturing defects — faults in materials or workmanship
- Electrical issues — electrical component failures under normal use
- Finish defects — premature flaking, pitting or discoloration
- Not covered — accidental or physical damage, moisture and corrosion, normal wear and tear, and light bulbs
Every plan covers the same — defects, electrical and finish. Longer plans simply cover for longer. Add-on price scales with order quantity · select your plan in the buy box

Ground fault—detected and cut in milliseconds
Monitors live-to-neutral current continuously — trips within milliseconds of detecting a leak.
Press Test monthly to simulate a fault; press Reset to restore power — no tools needed.
Meets NEC requirements for wet-area outlet protection in bathrooms, kitchens, and outdoors.
The Collonges is a ground-fault circuit interrupter outlet — a safety device that monitors electrical current and cuts power within milliseconds if a fault is detected, reducing the risk of shock in wet-area applications.
Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter. The device monitors the difference between current flowing out through the live conductor and returning through the neutral — any imbalance indicates a fault.
A standard outlet delivers power without monitoring it. A GFCI outlet continuously checks for current leakage — if it detects even 5 mA of imbalance, it trips and cuts power before a shock can occur.
Bathrooms, kitchens, laundry rooms, garages, outdoor areas, and any location where water and electrical outlets are in proximity. Most residential electrical codes require GFCI protection in these zones.
Yes — the ground-fault interrupter trips within milliseconds of detecting a current imbalance, cutting power before a fault can escalate. It does not replace proper wiring, but it adds a critical layer of protection in wet-area applications.
Test simulates a ground fault — pressing it should immediately cut power to the outlet, confirming the GFCI circuit is active. Reset restores power after a trip, whether real or simulated.
Yes — it is good practice to test GFCI outlets monthly. Press Test to confirm the circuit trips, then press Reset to restore power. If the outlet does not trip on Test, it should be replaced.
Yes — GFCI protection is specifically designed for and required in bathrooms, kitchens, laundry rooms, and other wet-area locations. The Collonges meets this application requirement.
Yes — while GFCI outlets can be self-installed by confident DIYers, professional installation by a licensed electrician ensures correct wiring, proper earthing, and code compliance for your jurisdiction.
Confirm your local voltage (110V or 220V), wiring configuration, and whether the outlet's faceplate format matches your wall plates. If unsure, consult a licensed electrician before purchasing.
