The Object

Stone on the wallwithout the weight

The Coevorden Wall Panel is cast from polyurethane in a detailed mountain-stone mould — close-up texture, true colour variation, none of the structural demands of real stone. A single panel runs 60 x 120 cm and can be cut with a standard blade to fit around outlets, corners, or irregular spaces. Five colourways cover everything from chalky white to deep charcoal. Install it on an accent wall, around a fireplace, or as a kitchen backsplash without specialist tools or heavy lifting.
Why you'll love it
  • Moulded from real stone profiles — texture reads as natural at close range
  • Lightweight polyurethane — no structural reinforcement needed
  • Five colourways: black, grey, white, red, beige
  • Cuttable to fit any wall shape, corner, or niche
  • Suitable for accent walls, fireplaces, and kitchen backsplashes
Details

Three ways to install, depending on your panel — nail gun, peel-and-stick, or glue-on. Pick the one that matches what you ordered.

Before you begin

  • Prep — walls should be clean, dry, and smooth; remove dust, grease, nails, and flaky paint
  • Layout — measure and mark your starting line with a level and pencil, and lay out panels on the floor first to visualize placement

What you'll need

  • Tape measure, level, pencil or chalk line
  • Utility knife or fine-tooth saw, clean cloth
  • Caulk gun (if using adhesive), rubber roller (for peel-and-stick), brad nail gun (for nail gun install)

Step by step

  1. Nail gun — for thicker or heavier panels like wood/MDF. Locate wall studs with a stud finder and mark them.
  2. Nail gun — start at the bottom corner and align your first panel to your guidelines.
  3. Nail gun — fasten into studs — nails every 12–16".
  4. Nail gun — fit remaining panels tightly together and continue fastening. Fill nail holes with wood filler or color-matched putty. Optionally, add caulk between panels for seamless joints. Leave a 1/8" gap at edges for expansion.
  5. Peel-and-stick — for lightweight panels with pre-applied adhesive. Wipe the wall clean of dust and grease and let it dry fully. Measure and draw a level starting line.
  6. Peel-and-stick — peel and place — remove the adhesive backing from the first panel, align carefully, and press onto the wall starting at one edge.
  7. Peel-and-stick — roll it flat — use a rubber roller to apply even pressure, then continue placing panels tightly against each other. Avoid repositioning — the adhesive is strongest on first contact.
  8. Glue-on — for panels without adhesive, like solid PVC, composite, or acoustic. Clean the wall surface thoroughly.
  9. Glue-on — apply adhesive in an "S" or zig-zag pattern on the back of the panel.
  10. Glue-on — press into place — align to your guide marks and press firmly against the wall. Use painter's tape to hold it if needed.
  11. Glue-on — repeat and finish — continue with remaining panels, keeping spacing even and level. Wipe away any adhesive squeeze-out with a damp cloth. Let adhesive cure 24–48 hours before applying pressure or weight.

The structure

Polyurethane castfrom a real stone mould

Each panel is cast in a mould taken directly from natural mountain stone, preserving the irregular surface depth, colour banding, and fine crack-line detail that makes real stone read as authentic. The polyurethane is rigid enough to hold those details over years of daily life while remaining light enough to lift and trim by hand.

Frequently asked

It's cast from high-density polyurethane — a material that holds fine surface detail without the weight or fragility of natural stone. The mould was taken from real mountain stone, so the texture is accurate rather than approximate.

At normal viewing distance, yes — the depth, colour variation, and surface irregularity are convincing. Close up, the material is clearly not stone, but in context on a wall, most visitors won't question it.

Five colourways: black, grey, white, red, and beige. Each carries the natural variation of the stone tone it mimics — the white has cool undertones, the beige has warm ones, and so on.

Accent walls, fireplace surrounds, kitchen backsplashes, hallways, office feature walls, and bedroom focal points. It's rated for interior use across living rooms, bedrooms, and offices.

No — each panel is lightweight and can be lifted by one person. Trim with a standard utility blade or fine-tooth saw, then fix to the wall with construction adhesive or the fixing method appropriate for your wall type.

Polyurethane resists impact, moisture, and everyday knocks well. It won't crack under normal domestic conditions, and the colour is integral to the material rather than a surface coat, so it doesn't chip or peel.

It's designed and rated for interior spaces. For covered outdoor areas with no direct rain or UV exposure it may perform reasonably, but we recommend interior applications to maintain the material's appearance over time.

Wipe with a damp cloth — the textured surface picks up dust but releases it easily with a soft brush or cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners that could wear the surface detail over time. No sealing or periodic treatment required.

Yes — a standard utility blade handles most cuts; a fine-tooth saw works for straight precision cuts. You can fit around light switches, outlets, and corners without specialist equipment.

Yes — one year as standard, with the option to extend. We'll replace any panel that arrives damaged or shows a manufacturing defect. Returns are accepted within 14 days for unused panels in original packaging.
