Yes — the Cinnabar hardwires into a ceiling junction box. Given the combined weight (6–8 kg) and the need for a secure ceiling mount, we recommend a certified electrician for installation.
The blades and housing are plastic; the motor housing and bracket components are iron. The combination keeps the fan lightweight for its span while maintaining structural integrity for long-term ceiling use.
The DC motor draws just 35W — significantly less than equivalent AC ceiling fans, which typically run at 60–75W for comparable blade spans. Over daily use, this difference in draw adds up to meaningful energy savings across a year.
Yes — the Cinnabar includes a remote control for speed adjustment. Multiple speed settings are available; the remote also controls the forward/reverse function, so you can switch modes seasonally without touching the fan.
Yes. The DC motor is quieter than AC equivalents by design — it produces less electromagnetic noise and runs at lower wattage across all speed settings. At low speed it is effectively inaudible in a typical living space.
Yes. The forward rotation draws warm air up and circulates cool air down during summer. Switched to reverse, the blades push warm air that has risen to the ceiling back down into the room — an effective winter setting that reduces heating load.
Turn off at the wall before cleaning. Wipe the blades with a soft, slightly damp cloth to remove dust — never spray liquid directly onto the motor housing or electrical components. The iron and plastic parts require no specialist maintenance.
Three finishes: matte black, white, and a wood-effect finish. Each is available in both blade spans (42" and 52") — choose based on ceiling height and room size, then pick the finish that suits the room.
