No shade needed—cage frames the glow
Iron rods form the cage with no solid panel — light travels outward in every direction, warm and unobstructed.

The cage and chain are formed from iron; the canopy is metal finished to match. There's no glass or acrylic — the open-frame structure is the entire fixture, with the E27 bulb visible at the centre.
An E27 LED, included with the fixture. Any standard E27 bulb fits the socket — a warm-white filament-style LED (2200–2700K) suits the cage's open look particularly well.
Yes — the chain adjusts up to 1.2 m, making it well-suited to spaces with 3 m or higher ceilings. For extra drop, contact us and we can advise on chain extension options.
No — the Chalon is rated for indoor use only. The iron cage is finished for interior conditions; exposed outdoor humidity or rain would affect the finish over time.
Two finishes: matte black and gold. Black reads clean and graphic against light walls; gold sits warmer and pairs well with natural timber and stone surfaces.
Installation is straightforward — the canopy mounts to a standard ceiling junction box, and the chain clips in. We recommend a certified electrician for the hardwired connection; once connected, the drop adjusts by hand.
At 12W and 1200 lm, the Chalon provides good ambient light for a kitchen counter or dining area. Because the bulb is exposed, the glow spreads widely. For task lighting, pair it with under-cabinet sources.
