The Object

Curved ironglobes at the tips

The Cephalonia Chandelier sweeps curved iron arms outward from a central mount, each ending in a clear glass globe. The chrome finish picks up reflected light from the globes, adding a subtle shine without overwhelming the room. Glass diffuses the E27 LED into an even ambient wash below. Three size options — 3, 4, or 5 heads — with replaceable bulbs.
Why you'll love it
  • Glass globes diffuse light evenly — warm ambient wash below
  • Curved chrome iron arms — sculptural balance in the room
  • Replaceable E27 LEDs — update the output or warmth easily
  • 3, 4, or 5 heads — scale to your dining room or living space
  • Wide voltage range 90–260V · dimmable on request
Details

A standard hardwired ceiling install — most of it is switching off the power and matching three wires. Set your hanging height before you connect anything, and you're most of the way there.

Before you begin

  • Mounting — to a standard ceiling junction box
  • Power — hardwired to your mains supply
  • Dimming — socketed bulbs dim; integrated-LED models don't
  • Drop — arrives at 47" (1.2 m); want it shorter or longer? Just email us before it ships
  • Ceilings — flat, and most sloped (check the product specs)

What you'll need

  • Screwdriver, voltage tester, wire stripper
  • Wire nuts (included), ladder
  • Drill (only for a new junction box or non-standard ceiling)

Step by step

  1. Turn off the power — switch off the lighting circuit at the breaker, then confirm it's dead with a voltage tester.
  2. Mount the bracket — fasten the included bracket to the junction box, snug and level.
  3. Set your height — before wiring, adjust the cord, chain, or downrod to your drop and lock it at the canopy.
  4. Connect the wires — black to black, white to white, green or bare to ground. Secure each with a wire nut and tuck them into the box.
  5. Attach the fixture — line the canopy up with the bracket and fix it flush with the provided screws or caps.
  6. Add the bulbs — correct type and wattage; if dimming, check the bulbs match your wall dimmer.
  7. Power on and test.

Good to know

  • Follow your local electrical codes.
  • For high or angled ceilings, or anything complex, bring in a licensed electrician.
  • Don't over-tighten decorative parts; dust gently with a soft cloth.

On the glass

Globe shadeslight diffused, not projected

Each sphere is clear glass — thin enough to let the LED output pass through softened, not filtered down to a tinted hue. The spherical form scatters light in all directions, so the chandelier illuminates the ceiling and floor evenly rather than producing a downward cone. Chrome arms catch the reflection of adjacent globes, adding a secondary layer of brightness without a hard point source.

Frequently asked

The frame and arms are iron with a reflective chrome finish. The shades are clear glass spheres — a classic material pairing that keeps the fixture light-looking despite its spread.

Three, four, or five — your choice at the time of ordering. The physical scale steps up with each additional globe, so choose based on your room width and ceiling height.

Replaceable E27 LEDs — included with the fixture. A standard fitting found in any hardware store worldwide; swap them for a different colour temperature or output when needed.

Yes, on request — configure dimming when ordering and we'll set up the fixture for a compatible wall dimmer. Use dimmable E27 LEDs (included or purchased separately) for full range control.

Dining rooms, living areas, and large entryways all work well. The even, multidirectional glow from the glass globes makes it particularly effective over a dining table where flat-ceiling ambient light is desired.

The cord length adjusts to up to 50 cm; further adjustment is available on request. The fixture uses a pipe-erected mounting rather than a flexible cord, so installation height should be planned before fitting.

Contemporary, mid-century, and transitional interiors all work — the curved arms and glass globes are a classic mid-century form that reads well in modern rooms. The chrome finish sits comfortably alongside warm metals and neutral palettes.

Yes — the Cephalonia hardwires to the mains via a pipe-erected mount. Professional installation by a certified electrician is strongly recommended.

No — the Cephalonia is rated for dry indoor spaces only. It's not suitable for bathrooms, outdoor use, or any area with regular moisture exposure.

Three heads: D40 x H20 cm · Four heads: D50 x H20 cm · Five heads: D54 x H20 cm. Drop adjusts to 50 cm as standard; request a longer drop when ordering if needed.
