The housing is extruded aluminium; the light-emitting face is an acrylic diffuser panel. Both are chosen for weather resistance — the aluminium doesn't rust and the acrylic is UV-stabilised.
Yes — the lamp is waterproof and rust-proof, designed to handle rain, humidity, and direct sun. It's suitable for year-round outdoor use on exterior walls, balconies, and garden surfaces.
The integrated LED strips are rated for low wattage relative to their lumen output — 18W for the 45cm model up to 48W for the 120cm, with long operating life built in to reduce replacement costs.
The flat, minimalist bar form reads cleanly on both contemporary and traditional exteriors. Black suits dark render or timber cladding; white suits rendered masonry or pale stone.
The integrated LED is rated for extended outdoor use and the sealed aluminium housing is treated to resist corrosion. Under normal outdoor conditions, the fixture is built to last well beyond its 1-year warranty period.
