The shade is formed from translucent acrylic, wrapped around a cylindrical iron base in a gold finish. The combination keeps the form lightweight while allowing the LED to glow through the sheet rather than off it.
The Cartigny uses an integrated LED — no separate bulb is needed. The LED is built into the base and rated for 50,000+ hours of use, so there's very little to maintain over time.
It runs on 90–260V, making it compatible with electrical systems worldwide — no voltage converter needed regardless of your country.
