The Object

Scattered across armslight as composition

The Carpiquet spreads glass globes across a network of copper arms, so what hangs from your ceiling is both a light source and a considered arrangement of form. Each frosted globe softens its G9 bulb into a warm glow — no bare source, no glare. Choose four, six, or nine heads to suit the room; the copper finish deepens over time rather than wearing flat.
Why you'll love it
  • Frosted glass globes diffuse each bulb into soft, even light
  • Geometric multi-arm form reads as sculpture from below
  • Solid copper frame — deepens in tone rather than fading
  • Four, six, or nine heads — scaled to the room
  • Replaceable G9 LEDs, dimmable on request
Details

A close-to-ceiling install for low-clearance rooms — power off, mount the bracket, match the wires, done.

Before you begin

  • Mounting — direct to a standard ceiling junction box; sits close against the ceiling
  • Dimming — most socketed models dim; integrated-LED models don't
  • Ceilings — flat ceilings only; for vaulted or sloped ceilings, look at semi-flush or pendant options instead
  • Power — hardwired to your home's electrical system

What you'll need

  • Screwdriver, voltage tester, wire stripper
  • Wire nuts (included), ladder
  • Drill (only for a new junction box or non-standard ceiling)

Step by step

  1. Turn off the power — shut it off at the breaker panel and confirm with a voltage tester.
  2. Remove the fixture cover — twist or unclip the outer shade or base cover to expose the mounting plate and wiring.
  3. Install the mounting bracket — attach it to the ceiling junction box with the supplied screws, secure and level.
  4. Connect the wires — black to black, white to white, green or bare to ground. Secure each with a wire nut and tuck them into the junction box.
  5. Attach the fixture base — lift into place, align with the bracket, and secure with the provided screws so it sits flush against the ceiling.
  6. Reattach the cover — twist, clip, or fasten the decorative cover or diffuser back on.
  7. Restore power and test.

Good to know

  • Great for standard or low ceilings — hallways, bedrooms, closets.
  • Confirm your junction box can support the fixture's weight.
  • Follow local electrical codes.
  • When in doubt, bring in a licensed electrician.

The structure

Arms that branchglobes that land

The intersecting arms aren't just a way to hold bulbs — they're the composition. Each arm terminates in a frosted globe, and the intervals between them create a rhythm that reads cleanly from below. The copper junction at the centre is finished with the same precision as the outer arms.

Frequently asked

The frame is solid copper with a brass finish; the shades are frosted blown glass. Both materials are chosen for longevity — the copper deepens in tone with time rather than fading.

Yes — G9 LED bulbs are included for all heads. They're replaceable, so when one eventually reaches end-of-life you can swap it individually without replacing the fitting.

Warm ambient lighting — the frosted glass diffuses each G9 LED into a soft, even glow with no visible source or glare. The effect is comfortable rather than task-bright.

The fixture runs on 90–260VAC, covering both standard North American (120V) and European/Australian (220–240V) wiring without any adapter.

The 4-head version (L65cm) works well in smaller rooms — bedrooms, dining nooks, or hallways. The 9-head (L100cm) is better suited to living rooms or larger dining spaces.

No — it hangs from a ceiling-mounted canopy, dropping below the ceiling on the arm assembly. Exact drop depends on the suspension wire, which is adjustable at install.

Dimming is available on request — let us know when ordering and we'll configure the driver accordingly. G9 bulbs are broadly dimmer-compatible once the driver is set.

The copper arms and frosted glass work particularly well in contemporary, mid-century, and transitional interiors. The warm metallic finish also reads well against natural wood and linen tones.

Depending on configuration: 4, 6, or 9 bulbs — each head takes one G9 LED. All bulbs are included. Choose the configuration that best matches your room size and light output needs.

Yes — the brass-over-copper finish is sealed against tarnish and everyday wear. Over time it develops a subtle patina rather than deteriorating — a characteristic of quality copper finishes.
