The Object

Flush and stillwarmth enters at the ends

The Cambes sits close to the ceiling in an elongated oval iron frame, with rounded wooden end caps that soften what would otherwise be a purely industrial form. The broad diffuser panel runs the full length of the body, pushing light outward in an even wash with no shadow lines or hotspots. Three sizes — 35, 65, and 95 cm — in white, grey, or green.
Why you'll love it
  • Flush-mount oval frame — no drop, no clutter for low-ceiling rooms
  • Wooden end caps add warmth to the iron-and-LED body
  • Wide diffuser panel delivers shadow-free, even illumination
  • Three lengths (35, 65, 95 cm) and three finishes
  • Integrated LED — no bulb to replace · dimmable on request
Details

A close-to-ceiling install for low-clearance rooms — power off, mount the bracket, match the wires, done.

Before you begin

  • Mounting — direct to a standard ceiling junction box; sits close against the ceiling
  • Dimming — most socketed models dim; integrated-LED models don't
  • Ceilings — flat ceilings only; for vaulted or sloped ceilings, look at semi-flush or pendant options instead
  • Power — hardwired to your home's electrical system

What you'll need

  • Screwdriver, voltage tester, wire stripper
  • Wire nuts (included), ladder
  • Drill (only for a new junction box or non-standard ceiling)

Step by step

  1. Turn off the power — shut it off at the breaker panel and confirm with a voltage tester.
  2. Remove the fixture cover — twist or unclip the outer shade or base cover to expose the mounting plate and wiring.
  3. Install the mounting bracket — attach it to the ceiling junction box with the supplied screws, secure and level.
  4. Connect the wires — black to black, white to white, green or bare to ground. Secure each with a wire nut and tuck them into the junction box.
  5. Attach the fixture base — lift into place, align with the bracket, and secure with the provided screws so it sits flush against the ceiling.
  6. Reattach the cover — twist, clip, or fasten the decorative cover or diffuser back on.
  7. Restore power and test.

Good to know

  • Great for standard or low ceilings — hallways, bedrooms, closets.
  • Confirm your junction box can support the fixture's weight.
  • Follow local electrical codes.
  • When in doubt, bring in a licensed electrician.

The shape

Oval profilewood softens the iron line

The Cambes uses an elongated oval rather than a rectangle, which removes the hard corners that make utilitarian ceiling fixtures feel institutional. The iron body is finished in white, grey, or green — each reading differently against plaster ceilings. The wooden end caps are the detail that grounds the fixture: a natural material at either end of a predominantly white or neutral form, so it reads more considered than a standard LED panel.

Innovative engineering · intelligent design
How the Cambes delivers consistent, clutter-free ceiling light.
No Drop

Flush-mount design sits close to the ceiling — keeps low rooms feeling open rather than crowded.

Even Light

The full-length diffuser panel spreads illumination evenly across the panel — no bright centre, no dim edges.

Three Finishes

White, grey, or green — each finish suited to a different interior palette, from Scandinavian to earthy-contemporary.

Frequently asked

The main body is iron, with wooden end caps at both short ends of the oval. The diffuser panel is a frosted material that runs the full length of the underside — spreading the LED glow evenly rather than creating a visible bright strip.

There is no separate bulb — the Cambes uses an integrated LED panel built into the fixture body. It comes ready to illuminate from the moment it's wired in, with no bulb purchase or socket fitting required.

The Cambes delivers bright, even ambient light — the kind that fills a room without creating shadows in the corners. At 1320 lm (small) to 3960 lm (large), it's sufficient as a primary ceiling light for kitchens, hallways, and home offices.

Yes — the 35 cm small size is proportioned for compact rooms, and the flush-mount design means it doesn't reduce ceiling height visually. It's a practical choice for hallways, bathrooms, or small kitchens where pendant clearance isn't viable.

The Cambes can be installed in bathroom zones where it's not directly exposed to water — above a vanity or in a dry ceiling zone works well. Confirm the IP rating suitability with your electrician for your specific bathroom zone requirements.

The Cambes runs on 90–260VAC, covering the standard range for North America (110–120V), Europe (220–240V), and most other markets — no adaptor or converter needed.

The integrated LED delivers between 1320 lm at 12W (small) and 3960 lm at 36W (large) — a high lumens-per-watt ratio compared with equivalent fluorescent or incandescent fixtures. The LED panel has no warm-up time and reaches full output instantly.

The Cambes is an elongated oval in profile — a form that avoids the hard corners of a rectangular panel and reads more architectural than utilitarian. The wooden end caps and three finish options (white, grey, green) let it suit Scandinavian, minimalist, and warm-contemporary interiors.

Yes — the wooden end caps were added specifically to bridge the gap between an iron ceiling fixture and a room with timber floors, furniture, or wall panelling. The natural wood reads as a connector rather than a contrast.

None — the Cambes has an integrated LED panel rather than individual bulb sockets. The panel is rated for the long lifespan typical of integrated LED fixtures, and the absence of sockets means no bulbs to source or replace during the fixture's working life.
