For the hardwired connection to mains, yes — a certified electrician is recommended. Mounting the bracket and fixture itself is straightforward with basic tools and the included hardware.

The housing is extruded aluminium; the diffuser panel is acrylic. The LED is integrated within the profile. All components are temperature-rated for indoor use.
The integrated LED is rated to 50,000 hours — that's around 17 years at 8 hours of daily use, so replacement is not something you'll need to plan for.
Yes — the fixture includes brackets for both ceiling and wall installation. The same fixing method works for both orientations; choose when mounting.
It mounts to a standard ceiling junction box or directly to a flat surface. Sloped-ceiling compatibility is available on request — contact us before ordering if your ceiling is angled.

Dust the aluminium housing and acrylic panel occasionally with a dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or moisture near the fixture. The finish is fade- and temperature-resistant under normal indoor conditions.
Black, gold, and white — all three are powder-coat or anodised finishes applied to the aluminium for resistance to heat and surface wear over time.
