The Object

Angular formwater runs smooth and flat

The Burgh is cut from solid brass and shaped around a wide, flat spout that delivers water in a smooth, laminar sheet. The angular silhouette is deliberate — all edges, no curves — and the brass underneath resists corrosion regardless of water quality. Single tap hole, two hoses and all mounting hardware included, compatible with both BSP and NPT plumbing.
Why you'll love it
  • Solid brass body — corrosion-resistant for the long term
  • Wide, flat spout delivers smooth, laminar water flow
  • Angular silhouette — a considered form, not just function
  • Two stainless-steel braided hoses and hardware included
  • BSP and NPT compatible — fits most plumbing systems
Details

Water off first, then it's supply lines and sealant — wall-mounted and counter-mounted faucets install a little differently, so follow the steps for your type.

Before you begin

  • Mounting — wall-mounted or counter-mounted; check your product's description first
  • Thread compatibility — G1/2 BSP is standard outside North America; NPT-compatible options are available for U.S. and Canadian plumbing (an adapter may be required)

What you'll need

  • Adjustable wrench, pipe tape (Teflon), basin wrench
  • Plumber's putty or silicone sealant, bucket or towel
  • Drill and anchors (for wall-mounted units)

Step by step

  1. Wall-mounted — turn off the water supply — shut off hot and cold valves and open nearby faucets to release pressure.
  2. Wall-mounted — prepare the water lines — confirm wall outlets for hot and cold water align with your faucet's inlets, and make any plumbing adjustments before mounting.
  3. Wall-mounted — install mounting hardware — mark and drill holes, then mount the support plate with the provided anchors or screws.
  4. Wall-mounted — connect supply lines — wrap threaded connections with plumber's tape and attach hot and cold lines securely to the valve inlets.
  5. Wall-mounted — mount the faucet body — secure the spout and handles onto the mounted base, tightening with a wrench without overtightening.
  6. Wall-mounted — seal and finish — apply silicone sealant around the base fittings and let it cure as recommended.
  7. Wall-mounted — turn on the water and test — check for leaks and test the temperature control.
  8. Counter-mounted — turn off the water supply — shut off both valves under the sink and drain any remaining water from the faucet.
  9. Counter-mounted — position the faucet and handles — insert through the pre-drilled holes on the countertop or sink deck.
  10. Counter-mounted — secure from beneath — use mounting nuts and washers from below the sink.
  11. Counter-mounted — connect the water supply lines — use plumber's tape on all threaded joints and attach hot and cold lines with flexible connectors.
  12. Counter-mounted — seal the base — apply plumber's putty or silicone around the faucet base if required.
  13. Counter-mounted — turn on the water and inspect — check for steady flow, correct temperature, and tight seals.

Good to know

  • Always verify thread compatibility (BSP vs. NPT) and use an adapter where needed.
  • If you're unsure about your plumbing system, consult a licensed plumber.
  • Clean aerators periodically for the best water flow.
  • For outdoor wall applications, make sure you have frost protection in colder climates.

Brassdrawn into a flat, angular spout

The Burgh's body is machined from solid brass — dense enough to feel permanent on a countertop, angular enough to make the basin feel designed. The flat spout geometry is not decorative: it produces a smooth, even sheet of water rather than a turbulent stream.

Frequently asked

The entire body — spout, base, and handle — is machined from solid brass. Brass resists corrosion from minerals and varying water chemistry, making it a more durable choice than zinc-alloy or chrome-plated alternatives over years of daily use.

The package contains the faucet body, two stainless-steel braided hoses, and all the mounting hardware required for a standard single-hole installation. No additional purchases are needed to fit it to most basins.

The wide, flat spout is shaped to produce a smooth laminar flow — water emerges as a consistent, quiet sheet rather than a turbulent jet. At 1.9 GPM the flow is strong without being wasteful, and the WaterSense certification confirms its efficiency.

Solid brass construction means the Burgh does not corrode, warp, or degrade in the way that lower-grade zinc alloys or plastic-core fittings can. With normal use and basic cleaning, it should remain in excellent working order for many years.

Yes — the angular, flat-surfaced design has few recesses for limescale to accumulate. Wipe with a damp cloth after use; for limescale, a diluted white-vinegar solution works well. Avoid abrasive pads that can scratch the finish.

The Burgh operates between 15 and 78 PSI. At the minimum 15 PSI it delivers adequate flow; at medium (46 PSI) the laminar sheet is at its best. If your supply pressure is below 15 PSI, check with a plumber before ordering.

The Burgh is rated at 1.9 gallons per minute — efficient enough to hold a WaterSense certification while still providing a strong, satisfying flow for hand-washing and daily grooming tasks.

The angular silhouette and flat spout geometry are very much at home in contemporary bathrooms — particularly alongside vessel basins, wall-mounted vanities, and stone or concrete countertops where the clean edges make a visual statement.

The Burgh is available in one finish — natural brass. The material's inherent warmth and density read as intentional rather than decorative, and the surface is treated to resist tarnishing under normal bathroom conditions.

It is solid brass through and through — no plastic cores, no chrome over a cheaper base — paired with a flat-spout geometry that produces genuinely smooth water flow. It ships complete with hoses and hardware, and is covered by Nava Decor's one-year warranty.
