No — the Brumath is a corded plug-in lamp. Place it on any surface, plug into a standard wall socket, and it's ready. No hardwiring or professional installation is needed.
The base is solid wood with an antiqued brass accent. The shade is cream linen fabric, pleated across its circumference. Both materials are chosen to read warm and considered together.
Wipe the wood base with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Dust the linen shade with a soft brush or low-suction vacuum attachment — avoid moisture on the fabric as linen can mark.
Yes — the Brumath includes a 1-year warranty as standard, extendable to 2 or 3 years. The warranty covers manufacturing defects in the base, shade structure, and electrical components.
The Brumath uses an E27 socket, so a compatible smart bulb (E27 base) can be used in place of the included LED for smart-home integration. The lamp itself has no built-in smart connectivity.
At 15W, the included LED is significantly more efficient than an incandescent equivalent at the same lumen output. The three light modes include a step-less dimmer that reduces power draw when full brightness isn't needed.
The Brumath has built-in three-mode dimming — warm white, step-less dimming, and trichromatic — controlled by the lamp's own switch. An external dimmer switch is not required and may interfere with the built-in modes.
