Reach and warmthin brushed bronze

The Bruinisse faucet is solid brass with a curved, elevated spout that clears the sink and gives plenty of room to work under. The brushed bronze finish introduces warmth the way wood and stone do — understated but present. One lever, smooth movement, 1.5 GPM at standard pressure. A faucet that makes the kitchen feel finished.
Why you'll love it
  • Solid brass construction — weighty, durable, built for daily use
  • Brushed bronze finish complements stone, wood, and warm neutrals
  • Curved elevated spout gives maximum clearance and reach
  • Single ergonomic lever — precise flow control with one hand
  • 1.5 GPM flow rate — WaterSense certified for efficiency
Details

Water off first, then it's supply lines and sealant — wall-mounted and counter-mounted faucets install a little differently, so follow the steps for your type.

Before you begin

  • Mounting — wall-mounted or counter-mounted; check your product's description first
  • Thread compatibility — G1/2 BSP is standard outside North America; NPT-compatible options are available for U.S. and Canadian plumbing (an adapter may be required)

What you'll need

  • Adjustable wrench, pipe tape (Teflon), basin wrench
  • Plumber's putty or silicone sealant, bucket or towel
  • Drill and anchors (for wall-mounted units)

Step by step

  1. Wall-mounted — turn off the water supply — shut off hot and cold valves and open nearby faucets to release pressure.
  2. Wall-mounted — prepare the water lines — confirm wall outlets for hot and cold water align with your faucet's inlets, and make any plumbing adjustments before mounting.
  3. Wall-mounted — install mounting hardware — mark and drill holes, then mount the support plate with the provided anchors or screws.
  4. Wall-mounted — connect supply lines — wrap threaded connections with plumber's tape and attach hot and cold lines securely to the valve inlets.
  5. Wall-mounted — mount the faucet body — secure the spout and handles onto the mounted base, tightening with a wrench without overtightening.
  6. Wall-mounted — seal and finish — apply silicone sealant around the base fittings and let it cure as recommended.
  7. Wall-mounted — turn on the water and test — check for leaks and test the temperature control.
  8. Counter-mounted — turn off the water supply — shut off both valves under the sink and drain any remaining water from the faucet.
  9. Counter-mounted — position the faucet and handles — insert through the pre-drilled holes on the countertop or sink deck.
  10. Counter-mounted — secure from beneath — use mounting nuts and washers from below the sink.
  11. Counter-mounted — connect the water supply lines — use plumber's tape on all threaded joints and attach hot and cold lines with flexible connectors.
  12. Counter-mounted — seal the base — apply plumber's putty or silicone around the faucet base if required.
  13. Counter-mounted — turn on the water and inspect — check for steady flow, correct temperature, and tight seals.

Good to know

  • Always verify thread compatibility (BSP vs. NPT) and use an adapter where needed.
  • If you're unsure about your plumbing system, consult a licensed plumber.
  • Clean aerators periodically for the best water flow.
  • For outdoor wall applications, make sure you have frost protection in colder climates.

The making

Brass underneathbronze on the surface

The Bruinisse is machined from solid brass — dense, non-corrosive, and the material of choice for faucets that need to hold tolerances over years of daily use. The brushed bronze surface treatment is applied over the brass, creating a warm, slightly matte finish that resists fingerprints and water marks better than polished alternatives.

Frequently asked

The combination of solid brass construction, a brushed bronze finish, and an elevated curved spout sets it apart from standard faucets. Most faucets at this price point use zinc alloy — solid brass holds tighter tolerances and resists corrosion far longer.

Solid brass throughout — the body, the spout, and the internal valves. Brass is the industry benchmark for faucet durability: it doesn't crack, doesn't corrode, and doesn't degrade at the joint threads over years of use.

The elevated, curved spout creates clearance above the sink bowl — making it practical for filling tall pots, washing large produce, or cleaning dishes with room to move. Standard straight-spout faucets frequently frustrate on exactly these tasks.

1.5 GPM (gallons per minute) at standard pressure — WaterSense certified, which means it meets the EPA's efficiency standard. At typical pressure, it delivers enough flow for all kitchen tasks while using less water than conventional 2.2 GPM faucets.

Yes — the single ergonomic lever moves smoothly through its arc to control both flow rate and temperature simultaneously. One hand is enough for precise adjustment, even mid-task.

The Bruinisse operates between 11 and 57 Psi — a wide range that covers most residential water systems. If your supply pressure is below 11 Psi, a booster pump may be needed for optimal performance.

No — brushed bronze is relatively low-maintenance. Wipe with a damp cloth after use to prevent mineral deposits, and dry with a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or acidic products, which can strip the surface. No sealers or polishes are needed.

The Bruinisse requires a single-hole mount with a 1.5" (4 cm) opening — standard for most kitchen sinks. It works with all standard kitchen plumbing. For North American NPT thread systems, an adapter may be required; please check your supply fittings.

Kitchens with natural stone countertops (marble, travertine, granite), wood cabinetry, or warm neutral schemes — the brushed bronze finish sits naturally in these palettes. It also reads well against matte white and dark-stained cabinetry.

Solid brass construction, WaterSense efficiency, and a brushed bronze finish that actually looks better in context than it does in photos — at a price point that usually delivers zinc alloy. Backed by a 1-year Nava Decor warranty, extendable to 2, 3, or 5 years, and free worldwide shipping.
