Water in the openno tube, no cover

The Brouwershaven Bathroom Faucet carries water through an open geometric channel rather than an enclosed spout — so you see the flow, not a pipe. Solid brass, sharply angular, and tall at 35 cm — it makes the basin surround a focal point. One lever moves smoothly through flow and temperature. The surface cleans flat.
Why you'll love it
  • Open-spout design — water flows visibly through a geometric channel
  • Solid brass — corrosion-resistant under daily use
  • 35 cm tall — a commanding presence over any basin
  • Single-lever control for flow and temperature
  • WaterSense certified — 2.1 GPM flow rate
Details

Water off first, then it's supply lines and sealant — wall-mounted and counter-mounted faucets install a little differently, so follow the steps for your type.

Before you begin

  • Mounting — wall-mounted or counter-mounted; check your product's description first
  • Thread compatibility — G1/2 BSP is standard outside North America; NPT-compatible options are available for U.S. and Canadian plumbing (an adapter may be required)

What you'll need

  • Adjustable wrench, pipe tape (Teflon), basin wrench
  • Plumber's putty or silicone sealant, bucket or towel
  • Drill and anchors (for wall-mounted units)

Step by step

  1. Wall-mounted — turn off the water supply — shut off hot and cold valves and open nearby faucets to release pressure.
  2. Wall-mounted — prepare the water lines — confirm wall outlets for hot and cold water align with your faucet's inlets, and make any plumbing adjustments before mounting.
  3. Wall-mounted — install mounting hardware — mark and drill holes, then mount the support plate with the provided anchors or screws.
  4. Wall-mounted — connect supply lines — wrap threaded connections with plumber's tape and attach hot and cold lines securely to the valve inlets.
  5. Wall-mounted — mount the faucet body — secure the spout and handles onto the mounted base, tightening with a wrench without overtightening.
  6. Wall-mounted — seal and finish — apply silicone sealant around the base fittings and let it cure as recommended.
  7. Wall-mounted — turn on the water and test — check for leaks and test the temperature control.
  8. Counter-mounted — turn off the water supply — shut off both valves under the sink and drain any remaining water from the faucet.
  9. Counter-mounted — position the faucet and handles — insert through the pre-drilled holes on the countertop or sink deck.
  10. Counter-mounted — secure from beneath — use mounting nuts and washers from below the sink.
  11. Counter-mounted — connect the water supply lines — use plumber's tape on all threaded joints and attach hot and cold lines with flexible connectors.
  12. Counter-mounted — seal the base — apply plumber's putty or silicone around the faucet base if required.
  13. Counter-mounted — turn on the water and inspect — check for steady flow, correct temperature, and tight seals.

Good to know

  • Always verify thread compatibility (BSP vs. NPT) and use an adapter where needed.
  • If you're unsure about your plumbing system, consult a licensed plumber.
  • Clean aerators periodically for the best water flow.
  • For outdoor wall applications, make sure you have frost protection in colder climates.

On the form

Open channelthe spout is the statement

The open-spout is not a conventional nozzle — the water runs through a cut geometric form, visible along its path before it falls. This makes the Brouwershaven function as a centrepiece for the basin area rather than a background fitting. At 35 cm tall, the vertical proportion makes it especially suited to deep vessel basins.

What makes the Brouwershaven different to look at and use.
Open flow

Water runs through an exposed geometric channel — the movement is part of the design.

35 cm tall

The tall profile suits vessel basins and deep undermount bowls with room to spare.

Solid brass

Not plated — the whole body is brass, resistant to corrosion over decades of use.

Frequently asked

Solid brass — the full body, not a zinc or aluminium core with a plated surface. Brass stands up to the mineral content and moisture of daily bathroom use without corroding or pitting over time.

The open-spout design — water runs through a visible geometric channel rather than emerging from a closed nozzle. The effect is both functional and sculptural: you see the flow, not a pipe.

The open channel spreads the water slightly as it falls, producing a smooth, laminar flow that feels clean under the hand. There's no aerator mesh to clog; the geometry of the channel does the work.

2.1 gallons per minute — certified to WaterSense standards. It's a comfortable washing pressure that balances performance with efficient water use, set at manufacture.

Yes. One smooth motion covers the full range of flow and temperature — push forward to increase flow, rotate left for warm and right for cool. No separate handles to coordinate.

15 PSI minimum to 75 PSI maximum, with 52 PSI as the recommended working pressure. This spans most residential and light-commercial plumbing systems without a pressure regulator.

The smooth brass surfaces need only a wipe with a damp cloth to remove water spots. Avoid abrasive pads or acidic cleaners — plain water or a mild soap is all that's needed to keep the finish consistent.

Yes — particularly bathrooms with vessel basins or contemporary design language. The open channel, sharp angles, and 35 cm height all work naturally alongside minimalist and geometric interior palettes.

At 35 cm tall, the Brouwershaven gives generous clearance — well suited to vessel basins where a standard-height faucet would feel cramped. The open spout also means no awkward angle for filling containers.

Recommended, yes. The G1/2 BSP thread suits most plumbing outside North America; an NPT adapter is needed for US or Canadian systems. A qualified plumber ensures a leak-free, correctly pressured installation.
