Deep-set reflector—the source disappears, the light stays

The outer trim is aluminium — lightweight and heat-dissipating with a finned housing. The reflector inside is plastic, shaped to keep the Bridgelux COB source hidden from view at any normal viewing angle.
12W, producing 1320 lm with a power factor above 0.9. That's efficient for a recessed COB fitting — comparable to a 75–100W incandescent spotlight but with far better colour rendering (CRI >90).
The Brouay uses an integrated Bridgelux COB light source — it's built into the fitting, not a replaceable bulb. The source is rated to 50,000 hours so replacement won't be needed for many years of normal use.
AC 120–277V — covering North American, European, and Australian residential standards. The same fixture works anywhere without an adaptor or voltage converter.
IP65 means the Brouay is fully dust-tight and protected against water jets from any direction. In practice, it can be installed in bathrooms, wet rooms, covered exterior soffits, and kitchen areas near steam sources.
Yes — IP65 covers damp locations and covered outdoor ceilings. It isn't rated for fully exposed outdoor installations (rain directly on the fitting), but bathrooms, covered patios, and under-eave soffits are all suitable.
Four: 15° (tight spot), 24° (standard spot), 36° (wide spot), and 50° (wide flood). You specify the beam angle when ordering — it's set by the optic inside the reflector, not something adjusted after installation.
Yes — the fitting tilts on its axis to aim the beam within the ceiling plane. This lets you point the light at artwork, a countertop, or a reading chair without repositioning the fitting in the ceiling.
Yes — the Brouay is hardwired and recessed into the ceiling. A certified electrician is recommended for the electrical connection and to cut the 7.5 cm hole cleanly. The 3-year warranty covers the fitting from date of installation.
