The Object

Drawn in coppercaught mid-fall

A slender copper stem tapers to a single faceted crystal — hung low so the line reads from ceiling to air. The glow gathers inside the glass, then spills outward in a controlled wash. By evening it traces gentle reflections across the wall — released slowly, never scattered.
Why you'll love it
  • Faceted crystal gathers the light, then releases it slowly
  • Slender copper stem with a brushed gold or black finish
  • Diffused, glare-free glow — intimate rather than exposed
  • Hang one, or cluster for a vertical rhythm
  • 1.2m adjustable drop · sloped-ceiling compatible
Details

A standard hardwired ceiling install — most of it is switching off the power and matching three wires. Set your hanging height before you connect anything, and you're most of the way there.

Before you begin

  • Mounting — to a standard ceiling junction box
  • Power — hardwired to your mains supply
  • Dimming — socketed bulbs dim; integrated-LED models don't
  • Drop — arrives at 47" (1.2 m); want it shorter or longer? Just email us before it ships
  • Ceilings — flat, and most sloped (check the product specs)

What you'll need

  • Screwdriver, voltage tester, wire stripper
  • Wire nuts (included), ladder
  • Drill (only for a new junction box or non-standard ceiling)

Step by step

  1. Turn off the power — switch off the lighting circuit at the breaker, then confirm it's dead with a voltage tester.
  2. Mount the bracket — fasten the included bracket to the junction box, snug and level.
  3. Set your height — before wiring, adjust the cord, chain, or downrod to your drop and lock it at the canopy.
  4. Connect the wires — black to black, white to white, green or bare to ground. Secure each with a wire nut and tuck them into the box.
  5. Attach the fixture — line the canopy up with the bracket and fix it flush with the provided screws or caps.
  6. Add the bulbs — correct type and wattage; if dimming, check the bulbs match your wall dimmer.
  7. Power on and test.

Good to know

  • Follow your local electrical codes.
  • For high or angled ceilings, or anything complex, bring in a licensed electrician.
  • Don't over-tighten decorative parts; dust gently with a soft cloth.

How the light works

Light held inside crystalthen let go

Each crystal holds the light at its centre, softening it before it passes through. The glow gathers inside the glass, then spills outward in a warm, controlled wash against the wall. The copper carries a tone that shifts slightly as it ages.

Innovative engineering · intelligent design
Three reasons the Brace holds a room.
Quiet descent

The crystal diffuses the glow into a contained circle that settles a threshold or a table.

Vertical rhythm

Installed in multiples, the pendants draw the eye upward without clutter or competition.

Clean edges

The transition from copper to crystal is tight and exact, so the form reads as intentional.

Design statement

Lightshaped by gravity

The Brace hangs as a sequence of slender copper stems, each tapering before it meets a suspended crystal form. It gives a space a vertical rhythm you can feel — the eye follows the drop, and the room reads taller, steadier, more defined.

Frequently asked

The Brace pairs a copper body in a brushed gold or black finish with a clear, asymmetrical drop-like crystal. Integrated LEDs sit inside the glass, so the light reads as a soft glow rather than a bare bulb.

Attach the included mounting bracket to your ceiling junction box, connect the wires by colour, then secure the canopy and set your drop. It's a hardwired fixture, so we recommend a licensed electrician for a safe, clean fit.

Yes — the Brace has a 1.2m adjustable hanging wire, so you can set it low and intimate over a bedside table or higher for a striking line in a dining room. Lock the height with the canopy mechanism.

Yes. All the mounting hardware and the junction box are included, so it arrives ready to wire in. You can fix it securely to any standard ceiling without sourcing extra parts.

It runs on a wide 90–260V range, so it works with standard household electrical in most countries without a converter — even, bright light wherever you are.

The integrated LEDs are rated to around 50,000 hours — years of regular use — so the Brace gives reliable, even light long after it's installed.

Yes. The Brace suits living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms, corridors, and above bedside tables. The adjustable drop and choice of one or three heads let it scale from a quiet accent to a centrepiece.

Soft, diffused light. The faceted crystal gathers the LED glow at its centre and releases it slowly downward — warm and intimate, with gentle reflections across nearby surfaces rather than glare.

Yes. The pairing of warm copper and faceted crystal sits comfortably in older rooms as well as modern ones, adding a quiet focal point without clashing with traditional detail.

Wipe the copper and crystal with a soft, dry cloth to lift dust and fingerprints. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasives that could mark the finish, and check the mounting and wiring stay secure over time.
