Hollowed curves—where the glow finds its way out
The hollowed form diffuses light through carved openings — a different quality to a conventional shade.
Unlit, it reads as a sculptural column — not a lamp waiting to be noticed.
Corded plug-in — no hardwiring, no installation, move it wherever the room needs it.
Polystyrene — a material chosen because it can be formed into complex sculptural curves that glass or metal cannot easily achieve. The smooth white finish gives the form a clean, contemporary look.
It comes in one size: 49 cm wide and 150 cm tall. The single-size design keeps the proportions consistent with the sculptural intent — it's designed to read as a full floor-standing column.
A replaceable E27 LED — the most common household bulb base. One is included; when it eventually needs replacing, any standard E27 from a hardware store will fit.
The included LED will last many years of daily use. The polystyrene body is designed for dry indoor use and the form is durable enough for long-term placement in living rooms, lounges, or entryways.
The Blankenburg ships in white. If you're interested in a different finish for a specific project, reach out to us before ordering to discuss options.
Yes — a 15W E27 LED (1500 lm) is included. It's ready to plug in and use; you don't need to purchase anything separately.

Wipe with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust from the polystyrene surface. Avoid damp cloths or cleaning products that could affect the finish. The smooth white surface is straightforward to maintain.
Dimming is available on request — mention it at checkout and we'll configure the lamp accordingly. Standard orders ship non-dimmed; a dimmable E27 bulb can also be used independently if your plug socket supports dimming.
