The Object

Reflecteda hundred times across the ceiling

The Bazenville mounts flush to the ceiling and radiates outward — a polished copper frame holding intricate starburst glass that catches the light and breaks it into shifting reflections above. An inner diffuser between the frame and the source softens the output so the room fills with even, ambient light rather than glare. Two sizes, 40 cm or 60 cm, scaled to the space.
Why you'll love it
  • Starburst glass refracts light into shifting reflections
  • Inner diffuser ensures even, glare-free ambient glow
  • Flush-mount — ideal for lower-clearance ceilings
  • Two sizes: 40 cm or 60 cm diameter
  • Replaceable E27 LEDs, dimmable on request
Details

A close-to-ceiling install for low-clearance rooms — power off, mount the bracket, match the wires, done.

Before you begin

  • Mounting — direct to a standard ceiling junction box; sits close against the ceiling
  • Dimming — most socketed models dim; integrated-LED models don't
  • Ceilings — flat ceilings only; for vaulted or sloped ceilings, look at semi-flush or pendant options instead
  • Power — hardwired to your home's electrical system

What you'll need

  • Screwdriver, voltage tester, wire stripper
  • Wire nuts (included), ladder
  • Drill (only for a new junction box or non-standard ceiling)

Step by step

  1. Turn off the power — shut it off at the breaker panel and confirm with a voltage tester.
  2. Remove the fixture cover — twist or unclip the outer shade or base cover to expose the mounting plate and wiring.
  3. Install the mounting bracket — attach it to the ceiling junction box with the supplied screws, secure and level.
  4. Connect the wires — black to black, white to white, green or bare to ground. Secure each with a wire nut and tuck them into the junction box.
  5. Attach the fixture base — lift into place, align with the bracket, and secure with the provided screws so it sits flush against the ceiling.
  6. Reattach the cover — twist, clip, or fasten the decorative cover or diffuser back on.
  7. Restore power and test.

Good to know

  • Great for standard or low ceilings — hallways, bedrooms, closets.
  • Confirm your junction box can support the fixture's weight.
  • Follow local electrical codes.
  • When in doubt, bring in a licensed electrician.

How it's made

Cut glassrefraction built into the structure

Each starburst element is shaped glass, not printed or etched — so the facets actually catch and split the light source rather than merely suggesting they do. The polished copper frame holds them at angles that maximise scatter across the ceiling above. Below the decorative layer, a smooth diffuser plate ensures no direct hotspot reaches the eye.

Innovative engineering · intelligent design
Scatter light

Starburst glass facets break the source into layered reflections across the ceiling.

Even wash

The inner diffuser smooths output — no hotspots, just calm ambient coverage.

Two scales

40 cm suits a bedroom or hallway; 60 cm anchors a dining room or living area.

Frequently asked

The frame is polished copper with a brass finish; the decorative accents are shaped glass arranged in a starburst pattern. An inner diffuser plate sits between the glass and the bulbs to soften the light output.

Yes — six E27 LED bulbs are included. They're replaceable, so when one reaches end of life you can swap it individually without replacing the fixture.

Six E27 bulbs across both size options. Both the 40 cm and 60 cm versions use the same six-bulb layout; wattage scales from 40W to 60W between the two sizes.

The 40 cm version runs at 40W (4000 lm) and the 60 cm at 60W (6000 lm) — both with replaceable E27 LEDs. If you want a dimmer output, a lower-wattage E27 bulb can be substituted.

Hardwired — it connects directly to your ceiling junction box. Professional installation by a certified electrician is recommended. There is no plug-in option.

The inner diffuser spreads output from all six bulbs into a single even wash — soft, ambient, and glare-free. The starburst glass above it adds decorative scatter without causing direct glare in the eye.

Its flush-mount design suits any room where ceiling clearance is limited — bedrooms, living rooms, dining areas, and entryways all work well. The 40 cm fits compact rooms; the 60 cm anchors larger spaces.

Yes — all six E27 bulbs are individually replaceable. Standard E27 LEDs from any supplier are compatible, giving you control over colour temperature and wattage over the fixture's lifetime.

90–260V universal range — compatible with residential wiring across North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and most other regions without any adapter or transformer.

The starburst glass is structural rather than decorative — shaped elements mounted at angles so they genuinely catch and split the light source into reflections. Combined with a flush copper frame, it reads as sculpture during the day and as ambient light at night.
