The pendant hardwires to a standard ceiling junction box with a cord adjustable to 2 m. A sloped-ceiling canopy is included. Professional installation by a certified electrician is recommended for safe and secure connection to mains wiring.
Yes — the organic blown-glass form reads as timeless rather than trend-led, which means it sits naturally in heritage interiors as well as modern ones. The warm white satin finish is neutral and works against plaster, brick, or timber ceilings.
The fixture takes a standard E27 LED — at 15W (1500 lm) a quality LED uses a fraction of the energy of an equivalent incandescent source, with a rated lifespan of 15,000 to 25,000 hours before requiring replacement.
Not in the standard version — but because the Barrel uses a replaceable E27, you choose your colour temperature by selecting the bulb: warm at 2700K, neutral at 3000K, or whatever you prefer. Dimmable versions are also available on request.
Yes — a 1-year warranty is included as standard, covering manufacturing defects in materials and construction. Extended coverage to 2 or 3 years is available on request at the time of purchase from Nava.
No — the Barrel Pendant is designed for dry indoor environments. It is not rated for bathrooms, covered outdoor areas, or spaces with regular moisture exposure. For wet areas, please see Nava's IP-rated fixtures.
Yes — the satin white finish is integral to the glass surface and resistant to UV and heat-related fading. Under normal indoor conditions, the colour tone and diffusion quality remain consistent over the lifespan of the fixture.
Wipe the glass globe with a soft, slightly damp cloth as needed. Avoid abrasive cleaners. To replace the E27 bulb, switch off at the mains, allow the glass to cool, then open the canopy to access the socket — no specialist tools required.
The iron canopy and cord hardware are solid and built for the long term. The blown glass is durable under normal conditions and is not fragile for everyday use — though the globe should be handled with care during installation and cleaning.
