Yes. The cable adjusts up to 1.2 m from the canopy. Shorter for a low-hung, intimate feel; longer to keep the disc higher and the light more spread. Adjustment is made at installation.
No — it's rated for indoor use only. The housing is not sealed against moisture or rain. For outdoor walls or covered patios, you'd need a fixture with an IP rating.
