The Object

Water spread widecontrolled by one hand

The Arnemuiden reduces a bathroom faucet to two elements: a wide waterfall spout and a single control lever. Both are housed in solid brass and stainless steel — materials that machine to sharp edges and hold them over years of temperature cycling. The waterfall spout delivers 2 GPM in a calm, wide sheet rather than a narrow stream. Multiple finishes available to sit with tile, stone, or timber vanity tops.
Why you'll love it
  • Wide waterfall spout — 2 GPM as a calm sheet, not a pressured stream
  • Single lever controls temperature and flow — intuitive with one hand
  • Solid brass body — machines to sharp edges, holds them through temperature cycling
  • NSF/ANSI 61 & 372 certified — lead-content and material safety standards met
  • Multiple finishes — sits cleanly with tile, stone, or timber vanity tops
Details

Water off first, then it's supply lines and sealant — wall-mounted and counter-mounted faucets install a little differently, so follow the steps for your type.

Before you begin

  • Mounting — wall-mounted or counter-mounted; check your product's description first
  • Thread compatibility — G1/2 BSP is standard outside North America; NPT-compatible options are available for U.S. and Canadian plumbing (an adapter may be required)

What you'll need

  • Adjustable wrench, pipe tape (Teflon), basin wrench
  • Plumber's putty or silicone sealant, bucket or towel
  • Drill and anchors (for wall-mounted units)

Step by step

  1. Wall-mounted — turn off the water supply — shut off hot and cold valves and open nearby faucets to release pressure.
  2. Wall-mounted — prepare the water lines — confirm wall outlets for hot and cold water align with your faucet's inlets, and make any plumbing adjustments before mounting.
  3. Wall-mounted — install mounting hardware — mark and drill holes, then mount the support plate with the provided anchors or screws.
  4. Wall-mounted — connect supply lines — wrap threaded connections with plumber's tape and attach hot and cold lines securely to the valve inlets.
  5. Wall-mounted — mount the faucet body — secure the spout and handles onto the mounted base, tightening with a wrench without overtightening.
  6. Wall-mounted — seal and finish — apply silicone sealant around the base fittings and let it cure as recommended.
  7. Wall-mounted — turn on the water and test — check for leaks and test the temperature control.
  8. Counter-mounted — turn off the water supply — shut off both valves under the sink and drain any remaining water from the faucet.
  9. Counter-mounted — position the faucet and handles — insert through the pre-drilled holes on the countertop or sink deck.
  10. Counter-mounted — secure from beneath — use mounting nuts and washers from below the sink.
  11. Counter-mounted — connect the water supply lines — use plumber's tape on all threaded joints and attach hot and cold lines with flexible connectors.
  12. Counter-mounted — seal the base — apply plumber's putty or silicone around the faucet base if required.
  13. Counter-mounted — turn on the water and inspect — check for steady flow, correct temperature, and tight seals.

Good to know

  • Always verify thread compatibility (BSP vs. NPT) and use an adapter where needed.
  • If you're unsure about your plumbing system, consult a licensed plumber.
  • Clean aerators periodically for the best water flow.
  • For outdoor wall applications, make sure you have frost protection in colder climates.

On the material

Brass bodysharp edges that stay sharp

Brass takes machined corners without the micro-fractures common in harder metals. The Arnemuiden's angular silhouette is achievable because of the material — the edges stay crisp over years of temperature cycling, unlike chrome-plated zinc alloy which tends to soften at the corners over time. The stainless steel internal water-path components resist mineral scale from hard water supplies, keeping the flow rate consistent without periodic descaling.

Frequently asked

The body is solid brass. Internal water-path components are stainless steel. Brass is chosen for machinability and corrosion resistance; stainless steel for its resistance to mineral scale at the waterway.

The Arnemuiden measures 5.1" (13 cm) in length and 5.9" (15 cm) in height. It requires a single tap hole of 1.4" (3.5 cm) in diameter — standard for most single-hole vanity tops.

The Arnemuiden operates between 29 PSI (minimum) and 72 PSI (maximum), with optimal performance at around 50 PSI. Most residential water supplies fall comfortably within this range.

The waterfall spout delivers 2 gallons per minute (GPM). This is within standard residential flow rates and meets WaterSense efficiency guidelines.

One — a single 1.4" (3.5 cm) tap hole. Hot and cold are both controlled by the single lever handle, so no separate holes are needed.

Multiple finish options are available — contact us before ordering to confirm current stock. Common finishes include brushed nickel, matte black, and polished chrome. The brass body accepts each finish consistently.

The single-hole design simplifies installation compared to three-hole faucets. Connecting to supply lines and sealing correctly still requires plumbing knowledge — we recommend installation by a certified plumber.

Yes — a 1-year warranty is included as standard, extendable to 2 or 3 years. Contact us after purchase to discuss extended coverage options.

Wipe the exterior with a soft damp cloth and dry immediately to prevent water spots. Avoid abrasive cleaners or acid-based products — they strip the surface finish. For hard water scale, a brief diluted white vinegar solution dissolves deposits without damaging the brass.

Yes — the Arnemuiden carries NSF/ANSI 61 & 372, UPC/cUPC, and CE certifications, which meet commercial installation standards in most markets. Its single-hole design also simplifies installation in countertops with limited pre-drilled positions.
