Sprayed into shapeno mould, no hard edge

The Andujar begins as a bare frame. Polymer strands are sprayed over it in layers — where they cross and settle, the cloud form takes shape. When lit, the strands diffuse the bulb into a soft, even glow: no hotspot, no visible bulb, no hard shadow below. Two diameters. The larger over a dining table; the smaller beside a bed.
Why you'll love it
  • Sprayed polymer construction gives each shade subtle, individual veining
  • Cloud form diffuses the bulb into soft, even glow without hot spots
  • Black shade and cord contrast in light-coloured rooms
  • Two sizes — 40 cm and 50 cm — for different positions and tables
  • Sloped-ceiling compatible · hardwired · 90–260V
Details

A standard hardwired ceiling install — most of it is switching off the power and matching three wires. Set your hanging height before you connect anything, and you're most of the way there.

Before you begin

  • Mounting — to a standard ceiling junction box
  • Power — hardwired to your mains supply
  • Dimming — socketed bulbs dim; integrated-LED models don't
  • Drop — arrives at 47" (1.2 m); want it shorter or longer? Just email us before it ships
  • Ceilings — flat, and most sloped (check the product specs)

What you'll need

  • Screwdriver, voltage tester, wire stripper
  • Wire nuts (included), ladder
  • Drill (only for a new junction box or non-standard ceiling)

Step by step

  1. Turn off the power — switch off the lighting circuit at the breaker, then confirm it's dead with a voltage tester.
  2. Mount the bracket — fasten the included bracket to the junction box, snug and level.
  3. Set your height — before wiring, adjust the cord, chain, or downrod to your drop and lock it at the canopy.
  4. Connect the wires — black to black, white to white, green or bare to ground. Secure each with a wire nut and tuck them into the box.
  5. Attach the fixture — line the canopy up with the bracket and fix it flush with the provided screws or caps.
  6. Add the bulbs — correct type and wattage; if dimming, check the bulbs match your wall dimmer.
  7. Power on and test.

Good to know

  • Follow your local electrical codes.
  • For high or angled ceilings, or anything complex, bring in a licensed electrician.
  • Don't over-tighten decorative parts; dust gently with a soft cloth.

How it's made

Strandssprayed to hold a cloud form

The shade is built by spraying polymer strands over a mould under controlled tension. Where strands cross and settle, they leave a subtle veining pattern — no two shades are the same. Once the material cures, the mould is removed and the shade holds its shape without any internal support. The result is a form that is light enough to look weightless and dense enough to diffuse effectively.

Three details that define how the Andujar lights a room.
Sprayed Form

Each shade built strand by strand — the process leaves individual veining no two share.

Soft Diffusion

Polymer weave scatters the bulb's output into even glow with no harsh edge.

Frequently asked

The shade is built from polymer strands sprayed over a mould. Once set, the material holds its cloud form without internal framing. The cord and canopy are black to match.

During manufacture, polymer strands are sprayed under controlled tension over the form. Where strands cross and settle, they leave a subtle pattern — no two shades are identical.

Yes — the 40 cm shade suits a reading corner or bedside pendant; the 50 cm works over a dining table or as a living room accent light.

The fixture is hardwired and mounts to a standard ceiling outlet box. We recommend installation by a qualified electrician for a safe, tidy result.

Yes — the canopy, cord, and ceiling hardware are included. Note: the E27 bulb is not included and must be purchased separately.

Dust the shade with a soft dry brush or compressed air. Avoid damp cloths or sprays on the polymer strands — sustained moisture may affect the material over time.

The fixture wiring does not include a dimmer circuit. However, you can install a dimmable E27 bulb — the shade will respond to brightness changes from the bulb's own dimmer.

The polymer shade is built for long-term indoor use — it does not fade or degrade under normal lighting conditions. Bulb lifespan depends on the E27 bulb you choose.

The cloud form diffuses the bulb into a soft, even glow — no hot spots, no hard shadows. Warm and understated, it adds presence without dominating the space.

Yes — the fixture operates on 90–260V, covering standard voltages in North America, Europe, Australia, and most of Asia without any adapter.
