Yes — the interior is fully open. Real candles, flameless LED candles, battery-operated taper lights, and E27 wired bulbs all work. The choice is yours and can change at any time.
Yes, with care. The Andlau suits covered patios, sheltered courtyards, and verandas where it is protected from direct rain. Sustained wet exposure will raise the grain on natural wood — keep it under shelter outdoors.

Yes — solid timber and jointed construction give the Andlau genuine structural integrity. It won't flex or creak the way thin sheet-wood products sometimes do. The larger sizes have a wide enough base to sit stably on slightly uneven surfaces.
With a real candle or battery-operated faux light inside, yes — the Andlau works without any electrical connection. Keep a candle nearby if that is a priority for your setting.
