Yes — the Heerenveen is hardwired and requires connection to a ceiling junction box. Professional installation by a certified electrician is recommended.
The art-glass panels diffuse sixteen individual bulbs into a single soft, even wash — a large-scale ceiling presence that fills the room with warm, layered light rather than direct glare.
A metal frame with art-glass panels — both heat-stable and fade-resistant. The glass is bonded into the frame rather than clipped, providing rigidity across all eleven size options.
The sixteen E14 LEDs deliver 1500–8000 lm from 15–80W, depending on configuration — significantly more efficient per lumen than halogen or incandescent bulbs of comparable brightness.
The E14 LEDs are rated to 50,000 hours. At eight hours of use per day, that's over 17 years before they reach end of rated life.

The Heerenveen is designed as a ceiling-hung chandelier only. Wall mounting is not supported for this fixture.
The Heerenveen uses E14 bulbs in a standard screw fitting, compatible with LEDs available at any hardware store. The fixture itself hardwires to mains — not a plug-in model.
