Installation Guide

A standard hardwired ceiling install — most of it is switching off the power and matching three wires. Set your hanging height before you connect anything, and you're most of the way there.

Before you begin

  • Mounting — to a standard ceiling junction box
  • Power — hardwired to your mains supply
  • Dimming — socketed bulbs dim; integrated-LED models don't
  • Drop — arrives at 47" (1.2 m); want it shorter or longer? Just email us before it ships
  • Ceilings — flat, and most sloped (check the product specs)

What you'll need

  • Screwdriver, voltage tester, wire stripper
  • Wire nuts (included), ladder
  • Drill (only for a new junction box or non-standard ceiling)

Step by step

  1. Turn off the power — switch off the lighting circuit at the breaker, then confirm it's dead with a voltage tester.
  2. Mount the bracket — fasten the included bracket to the junction box, snug and level.
  3. Set your height — before wiring, adjust the cord, chain, or downrod to your drop and lock it at the canopy.
  4. Connect the wires — black to black, white to white, green or bare to ground. Secure each with a wire nut and tuck them into the box.
  5. Attach the fixture — line the canopy up with the bracket and fix it flush with the provided screws or caps.
  6. Add the bulbs — correct type and wattage; if dimming, check the bulbs match your wall dimmer.
  7. Power on and test.

  • Follow your local electrical codes.
  • For high or angled ceilings, or anything complex, bring in a licensed electrician.
  • Don't over-tighten decorative parts; dust gently with a soft cloth.

What is the shipping timeframe?

Nava Decor ships worldwide with free delivery — typically 15–21 business days to most destinations. You'll receive a tracking number once the order dispatches.

Is installation hardware included?

Yes — all mounting hardware is in the box. The Hypha hardwires to a standard ceiling junction box; we recommend a certified electrician for the final connection.

Can this fixture be used with a dimmer switch?

Yes, on request — specify at checkout and we configure it for dimmer compatibility. The included E14 LEDs are compatible with standard phase-cut wall dimmers.

What type of bulbs are compatible?

E14 LED bulbs, included in the box. Standard E14 bulbs are widely available — choose 3000K for warm light or 6000K for cool; the fixture is pre-configured to the colour you select at order.

How do I clean and maintain it?

Wipe the steel frame with a soft dry cloth. Clean individual crystal elements with a damp microfibre cloth — avoid abrasive cleaners. Allow to dry fully before switching back on.

What is the return policy?

We offer a 14-day return window from the date of delivery. Items must be in original condition and packaging. Contact us and we'll arrange the return and process your refund.

Is there a warranty included?

Yes — a 1-year warranty is included as standard, extendable to 2, 3, or 5 years on request. The warranty covers manufacturing defects; contact our team if anything arrives wrong.

How energy efficient is this fixture?

Four E14 LEDs at 5W each, total 56W system-rated — producing 5600 lm, the equivalent of a 400W+ incandescent installation at a fraction of the running cost.

Can it be used in damp areas?

No — the Hypha is rated for dry indoor spaces only. Bathrooms and covered outdoor areas are not suitable. It works well in living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms, and entryways.

What is the expected lifespan of the LEDs?

The included E14 LEDs are rated at 50,000 hours under normal use — roughly 17 years at 8 hours per day before a replacement is likely needed.
