Installation Guide

Most wall lamps are a simple bracket-and-wire job — but check your power type first, since hardwired, plug-in, and rechargeable models each install a little differently.

Before you begin

Dimming — most socketed lamps dim; integrated-LED models don't
Power — hardwired, plug-in, or rechargeable depending on the model; check your product details
Mounting — wall-mount, hardware included
Indoor/outdoor — confirm your model is rated for outdoor use before installing outside

What you'll need

Screwdriver
Wire nuts (included for hardwired models)
Voltage tester
Power drill (for new mounting locations)

Step by step

Identify your power type — hardwired, plug-in, or rechargeable. Follow the steps below for yours.
If hardwired: turn off the power — switch off at your main electrical panel and confirm with a voltage tester.
If hardwired: remove the old lamp — unscrew it and disconnect the wires by removing the wire nuts.
If hardwired: attach the new mounting bracket — align it with your junction box or marked wall location and secure with the included screws.
If hardwired: connect the wires — black to black, white to white, green or bare to ground. Twist and secure with wire nuts, then tuck neatly into the junction box.
If hardwired: mount the fixture — align with the bracket and secure with the provided screws.
If hardwired: install the bulb — correct type and wattage, if your model uses one.
If hardwired: restore power and test.
If plug-in: mount the bracket — with anchors or screws, then attach the fixture and plug it into a nearby outlet. Route the cord neatly.
If rechargeable: mount the bracket — with screws and anchors, fully charge the lamp with the included cable, then install it onto the bracket and power on.

How do I install the lamp onto the wall?

Mount the iron bracket to the wall using the included fixings, connect the wiring, and attach the lamp body. The bracket is small — suitable for standard stud or plasterboard walls with the correct anchors. Professional installation is recommended.

The LED is built in as either warm white or cool white — you choose your colour temperature at the time of ordering. For dimming, request it when you order and we'll configure accordingly.

How long do the built-in LEDs last?

50,000 hours — at four hours daily use that's over 34 years of rated life. The LED is integrated into the fixture and is not designed to be field-replaced.

Is the lamp resistant to corrosion and scratches?

The iron mount has a spray-painted finish that resists everyday contact and light moisture. The wood and acrylic components are scratch-resistant under normal indoor conditions — avoid abrasive cleaning.

What decor styles does the lamp complement?

The natural wood body suits Scandinavian and warm-minimal interiors in brown or white finish; the black version leans more industrial or contemporary. The slim profile keeps it from clashing with most room styles.
