Installation Guide

A standard hardwired ceiling install — most of it is switching off the power and matching three wires. Set your hanging height before you connect anything, and you're most of the way there.

Before you begin

  • Mounting — to a standard ceiling junction box
  • Power — hardwired to your mains supply
  • Dimming — socketed bulbs dim; integrated-LED models don't
  • Drop — arrives at 47" (1.2 m); want it shorter or longer? Just email us before it ships
  • Ceilings — flat, and most sloped (check the product specs)

What you'll need

  • Screwdriver, voltage tester, wire stripper
  • Wire nuts (included), ladder
  • Drill (only for a new junction box or non-standard ceiling)

Step by step

  1. Turn off the power — switch off the lighting circuit at the breaker, then confirm it's dead with a voltage tester.
  2. Mount the bracket — fasten the included bracket to the junction box, snug and level.
  3. Set your height — before wiring, adjust the cord, chain, or downrod to your drop and lock it at the canopy.
  4. Connect the wires — black to black, white to white, green or bare to ground. Secure each with a wire nut and tuck them into the box.
  5. Attach the fixture — line the canopy up with the bracket and fix it flush with the provided screws or caps.
  6. Add the bulbs — correct type and wattage; if dimming, check the bulbs match your wall dimmer.
  7. Power on and test.

  • Follow your local electrical codes.
  • For high or angled ceilings, or anything complex, bring in a licensed electrician.
  • Don't over-tighten decorative parts; dust gently with a soft cloth.

What is the BadKissingen Chandelier made of?

Aluminium spine and frame, with glass enclosures around each individual light source. The aluminium is finished in grey or gold — both are hard-wearing and consistent across the full height of the fixture.

What light source does it use?

Integrated LED — built into each position in the frame. No bulbs to source separately. The LED output is 5W per head, adding up to 180W at full 36-light specification.

How many configurations are available?

Eleven — from a single pendant to 36 lights. Heights range from 100 cm (1-light) to 750 cm (36-light), making the BadKissingen one of the most scalable chandeliers we carry.

Is it suitable for stairwells or double-height spaces?

Absolutely — the taller configurations (18 lights and above) are designed specifically for double-height rooms, stairwells, and atrium spaces where the full vertical sweep can be appreciated.

What voltage does it support?

90–260V AC, compatible with most domestic and commercial electrical systems worldwide.

Is the drop length adjustable?

Yes — the cord adjusts up to 6 m. For very tall spaces, contact us before ordering to confirm the configuration and drop you need.

Is it dimmable?

The integrated LED in this model is not dimmable as standard. If you need dimming, contact us at the time of order and we can advise on compatible configurations.

Which rooms does it work best in?

Stairwells, double-height living rooms, hotel lobbies, and grand entryways are the natural home for the larger configurations. The 1–6 light versions suit standard-height dining rooms and bedrooms.

Is professional installation required?

Yes — especially for the larger configurations, which are heavy and require careful ceiling-load assessment. A certified electrician should handle wiring and mounting. Hardware is included.

Does it come with a warranty?

Every BadKissingen Chandelier ships with a 1-year Nava warranty, extendable to 2, 3, or 5 years. Nava ships free worldwide, with delivery typically in 15–21 business days. Returns are accepted within 14 days.
