Installation Guide

A standard hardwired ceiling install — most of it is switching off the power and matching three wires. Set your hanging height before you connect anything, and you're most of the way there.

Before you begin

  • Mounting — to a standard ceiling junction box
  • Power — hardwired to your mains supply
  • Dimming — socketed bulbs dim; integrated-LED models don't
  • Drop — arrives at 47" (1.2 m); want it shorter or longer? Just email us before it ships
  • Ceilings — flat, and most sloped (check the product specs)

What you'll need

  • Screwdriver, voltage tester, wire stripper
  • Wire nuts (included), ladder
  • Drill (only for a new junction box or non-standard ceiling)

Step by step

  1. Turn off the power — switch off the lighting circuit at the breaker, then confirm it's dead with a voltage tester.
  2. Mount the bracket — fasten the included bracket to the junction box, snug and level.
  3. Set your height — before wiring, adjust the cord, chain, or downrod to your drop and lock it at the canopy.
  4. Connect the wires — black to black, white to white, green or bare to ground. Secure each with a wire nut and tuck them into the box.
  5. Attach the fixture — line the canopy up with the bracket and fix it flush with the provided screws or caps.
  6. Add the bulbs — correct type and wattage; if dimming, check the bulbs match your wall dimmer.
  7. Power on and test.

  • Follow your local electrical codes.
  • For high or angled ceilings, or anything complex, bring in a licensed electrician.
  • Don't over-tighten decorative parts; dust gently with a soft cloth.

The irregular silhouette — wider in some places, narrower in others — is the result of a hand-finished process where no two pours produce exactly the same outline. The Errindlev ships free worldwide, arriving in approximately 15–21 business days. A tracking number is sent as soon as the order dispatches.

What is the pendant made from?

High-quality resin for the shade, with an iron hardware frame. The resin is durable, lightweight, and allows light to pass through it softly rather than blocking or redirecting it.

Is each piece truly unique?

Yes — the free-flowing form is hand-finished, so no two Errindlev pendants are shaped exactly alike. Yours will carry slight variations in profile that make it one of a kind.

What type of bulb does it use?

A G9 LED, included with the pendant. It sits inside the resin form; replacements are standard G9 bulbs, available at any hardware store.

Is it dimmable?

No — the Errindlev is not configured for dimming. It operates at full brightness on a standard wall switch.

Can the cord height be adjusted?

Yes — the adjustable cord extends to 1.5 m, letting you set the pendant at the right height for your ceiling and room. It is also sloped-ceiling compatible.
