Installation Guide

A standard hardwired ceiling install — most of it is switching off the power and matching three wires. Set your hanging height before you connect anything, and you're most of the way there.

Before you begin

  • Mounting — to a standard ceiling junction box
  • Power — hardwired to your mains supply
  • Dimming — socketed bulbs dim; integrated-LED models don't
  • Drop — arrives at 47" (1.2 m); want it shorter or longer? Just email us before it ships
  • Ceilings — flat, and most sloped (check the product specs)

What you'll need

  • Screwdriver, voltage tester, wire stripper
  • Wire nuts (included), ladder
  • Drill (only for a new junction box or non-standard ceiling)

Step by step

  1. Turn off the power — switch off the lighting circuit at the breaker, then confirm it's dead with a voltage tester.
  2. Mount the bracket — fasten the included bracket to the junction box, snug and level.
  3. Set your height — before wiring, adjust the cord, chain, or downrod to your drop and lock it at the canopy.
  4. Connect the wires — black to black, white to white, green or bare to ground. Secure each with a wire nut and tuck them into the box.
  5. Attach the fixture — line the canopy up with the bracket and fix it flush with the provided screws or caps.
  6. Add the bulbs — correct type and wattage; if dimming, check the bulbs match your wall dimmer.
  7. Power on and test.

  • Follow your local electrical codes.
  • For high or angled ceilings, or anything complex, bring in a licensed electrician.
  • Don't over-tighten decorative parts; dust gently with a soft cloth.

Crystal doesn't diffuse light — it splits and redirects it. Each facet on the Atarfe sends a point of brightness in a slightly different direction, so the pattern of reflected light on the surrounding walls and ceiling shifts as the source angle changes through the day. What materials are the chandeliers made of?

The frame is metal with a gold finish, and the decorative elements are crystal. The integrated LED is built into the frame rather than hanging from separate bulb sockets.

Are the crystals genuine or synthetic?

The crystals are high-quality synthetic glass crystal — faceted to refract light in the same way as natural crystal, but more consistent in clarity and far more durable for everyday use in a ceiling fixture.

How does the chandelier refract light?

Each crystal facet redirects a small portion of the LED output in a different direction, creating a pattern of moving light points on the surrounding walls and ceiling. The effect is subtle with warm white and more pronounced with cool white.

Can I customize the chandelier to match my decor?

The five configurations — two flat-ring sizes and three stacked arrangements — cover most room scales. Contact us if you need a custom drop length or dimming configuration.

Is the chandelier suitable for both living rooms and bedrooms?

Yes — the warm white setting and remote dimming make it adaptable. In a living room the three-ring version reads as a centrepiece; in a bedroom the single ring at lower brightness is more subdued.

What is the expected lifespan of the chandelier?

The integrated LED is rated at 50,000+ hours. The crystal and gold frame are built to last well beyond that — with normal care, the fixture should remain in service for many years.

How do I install the chandelier?

The Atarfe hardwires to a standard ceiling junction box. The drop cord adjusts to 1.5m. Sloped ceiling compatibility is available on request. We recommend a certified electrician for installation.

Are the chandeliers energy-efficient?

Yes — integrated LED throughout. The single-ring version draws 42–60W and produces 4,620–6,600 lumens; even the three-ring stack at 270W is efficient compared to equivalent incandescent crystal chandeliers.

Is the Atarfe Chandelier dimmable?

Yes — a remote control is included and adjusts brightness in steps. Warm and cool white can also be switched by remote without accessing the fixture itself.

Does the chandelier come with a warranty?
