Installation Guide

A standard hardwired ceiling install — most of it is switching off the power and matching three wires. Set your hanging height before you connect anything, and you're most of the way there.

Before you begin

  • Mounting — to a standard ceiling junction box
  • Power — hardwired to your mains supply
  • Dimming — socketed bulbs dim; integrated-LED models don't
  • Drop — arrives at 47" (1.2 m); want it shorter or longer? Just email us before it ships
  • Ceilings — flat, and most sloped (check the product specs)

What you'll need

  • Screwdriver, voltage tester, wire stripper
  • Wire nuts (included), ladder
  • Drill (only for a new junction box or non-standard ceiling)

Step by step

  1. Turn off the power — switch off the lighting circuit at the breaker, then confirm it's dead with a voltage tester.
  2. Mount the bracket — fasten the included bracket to the junction box, snug and level.
  3. Set your height — before wiring, adjust the cord, chain, or downrod to your drop and lock it at the canopy.
  4. Connect the wires — black to black, white to white, green or bare to ground. Secure each with a wire nut and tuck them into the box.
  5. Attach the fixture — line the canopy up with the bracket and fix it flush with the provided screws or caps.
  6. Add the bulbs — correct type and wattage; if dimming, check the bulbs match your wall dimmer.
  7. Power on and test.

  • Follow your local electrical codes.
  • For high or angled ceilings, or anything complex, bring in a licensed electrician.
  • Don't over-tighten decorative parts; dust gently with a soft cloth.

The shade is brass-finished iron, the top plate is genuine marble, and the light panel is acrylic. Together they give the fixture a grounded warmth that holds up well over time and use.

How do I install it?

It hardwires to a standard ceiling junction box — the cord adjusts to 1.5m. We recommend a certified electrician. A wall-mount bracket is also included if you prefer that position.

Is it compatible with all ceiling types?

Yes — the Atrium is sloped-ceiling compatible out of the box, so it works in rooms with angled or vaulted ceilings without any additional hardware or adapters.

What is the expected lifespan of the LEDs?

The integrated LED is rated at 50,000 hours — roughly 17 years at eight hours of use per day. It's not user-replaceable, but it's built to outlast almost any other component in the fixture.

Is it energy-efficient?

Yes — 12W drawing 1,320 lumens is very efficient for the light output. Running it eight hours a day costs a fraction of an equivalent incandescent setup over the same period of time.

What is the return policy?

Does it come with a warranty?

Yes — a 1-year warranty is included, and we offer extensions to 2 or 3 years if you'd like added peace of mind. Contact us after purchase to set that up at no hassle.

How do I switch between light modes?

The warm and cool white modes are selected at the switch — no app, no remote needed. If you'd like dimming added on top of that, let us know at order and we'll configure it.

Is it suitable for outdoor use?

No — the Atrium is designed for indoor ceilings only. Moisture and temperature swings outdoors would affect the marble and the iron frame over a short period of time.

How do I clean and maintain it?

Wipe the iron shade and marble plate with a dry or barely damp cloth — no abrasive cleaners on the marble. The acrylic diffuser can be dusted gently with a soft cloth to keep the light clean.
