Installation Guide

A standard hardwired ceiling install — most of it is switching off the power and matching three wires. Set your hanging height before you connect anything, and you're most of the way there.

Before you begin

  • Mounting — to a standard ceiling junction box
  • Power — hardwired to your mains supply
  • Dimming — socketed bulbs dim; integrated-LED models don't
  • Drop — arrives at 47" (1.2 m); want it shorter or longer? Just email us before it ships
  • Ceilings — flat, and most sloped (check the product specs)

What you'll need

  • Screwdriver, voltage tester, wire stripper
  • Wire nuts (included), ladder
  • Drill (only for a new junction box or non-standard ceiling)

Step by step

  1. Turn off the power — switch off the lighting circuit at the breaker, then confirm it's dead with a voltage tester.
  2. Mount the bracket — fasten the included bracket to the junction box, snug and level.
  3. Set your height — before wiring, adjust the cord, chain, or downrod to your drop and lock it at the canopy.
  4. Connect the wires — black to black, white to white, green or bare to ground. Secure each with a wire nut and tuck them into the box.
  5. Attach the fixture — line the canopy up with the bracket and fix it flush with the provided screws or caps.
  6. Add the bulbs — correct type and wattage; if dimming, check the bulbs match your wall dimmer.
  7. Power on and test.

  • Follow your local electrical codes.
  • For high or angled ceilings, or anything complex, bring in a licensed electrician.
  • Don't over-tighten decorative parts; dust gently with a soft cloth.

The Tow Chandelier ships free worldwide. Delivery typically takes 15–21 business days depending on your location. A tracking number is sent once your order dispatches.

Is professional installation required or can I do it myself?

The Tow Chandelier hardwires to a ceiling junction box. We recommend installation by a certified electrician — especially for the multi-ring configurations, which require careful weight distribution and cord levelling.

Are the LEDs replaceable?

The Tow Chandelier uses integrated LEDs built into the aluminium ring channel — they're not user-replaceable. Rated at 50,000 hours, they're designed to outlast typical residential replacement cycles.

How do I control the brightness remotely?

Optional remote dimming is available on request. Specify at the time of ordering and we'll configure the Tow Chandelier for remote brightness control — included in the box.

Is the Tow Chandelier dimmable?

Yes — dimming is available on request. The optional remote controller adjusts brightness across the full LED range. Without the dimmer option, the two light modes (warm and cool white) are switch-controlled.

Does it come with a warranty?

Yes — the Tow Chandelier includes a 1-year warranty as standard, extendable to 2 or 3 years. Contact us after purchase to set up an extension.

What type of ceiling can it be mounted on?

The Tow Chandelier mounts to a standard junction box and is sloped-ceiling compatible. The adjustable cord (to 1.2 m) allows for level hanging on angled or pitched ceilings.

Is the chandelier energy-efficient?

Yes — integrated LEDs are significantly more efficient than equivalent halogen or incandescent sources. The 3-ring configuration at 126W delivers 13,860 lm — strong output for the power used.
