Installation Guide

A standard hardwired ceiling install — most of it is switching off the power and matching three wires. Set your hanging height before you connect anything, and you're most of the way there.

Before you begin

  • Mounting — to a standard ceiling junction box
  • Power — hardwired to your mains supply
  • Dimming — socketed bulbs dim; integrated-LED models don't
  • Drop — arrives at 47" (1.2 m); want it shorter or longer? Just email us before it ships
  • Ceilings — flat, and most sloped (check the product specs)

What you'll need

  • Screwdriver, voltage tester, wire stripper
  • Wire nuts (included), ladder
  • Drill (only for a new junction box or non-standard ceiling)

Step by step

  1. Turn off the power — switch off the lighting circuit at the breaker, then confirm it's dead with a voltage tester.
  2. Mount the bracket — fasten the included bracket to the junction box, snug and level.
  3. Set your height — before wiring, adjust the cord, chain, or downrod to your drop and lock it at the canopy.
  4. Connect the wires — black to black, white to white, green or bare to ground. Secure each with a wire nut and tuck them into the box.
  5. Attach the fixture — line the canopy up with the bracket and fix it flush with the provided screws or caps.
  6. Add the bulbs — correct type and wattage; if dimming, check the bulbs match your wall dimmer.
  7. Power on and test.

  • Follow your local electrical codes.
  • For high or angled ceilings, or anything complex, bring in a licensed electrician.
  • Don't over-tighten decorative parts; dust gently with a soft cloth.

Ring over ring — light in every layer

The Threshold's rings are each wrapped in an acrylic diffuser panel that hides the LED source completely — what you see is a glowing edge rather than a visible bulb. Stack a larger ring below a smaller one and the light layers in a telescoping series of circles. The aluminium body keeps the whole structure lightweight relative to its visual scale.

When will my order ship?

The Threshold ships free worldwide. Once dispatched, delivery typically takes 15–21 business days. We'll send tracking information as soon as your order leaves our workshop.

Is installation hardware included?

Yes — the Threshold includes all mounting hardware for both ceiling and wall installation. The remote control and any required junction boxes are also included.

How do I adjust the chandelier height?

The suspension cord adjusts up to 1.5 m, so you can set the drop to match your ceiling height and position the rings exactly where you want them.

Are there different lighting modes?

Yes — the remote controls three modes: warm white, cool white, and a mixed daylight setting. Brightness is also adjustable across all three modes.

What is the lifespan of the LEDs?

The integrated LEDs are rated for 50,000+ hours — well over a decade of daily use before any maintenance is needed.

Can it be used in commercial spaces?

Yes — the Threshold is suited to residential and commercial use alike. Its clean circular form and multiple size configurations make it a good fit for offices, cafes, galleries, and retail spaces.

Is it compatible with standard electrical sockets?

The Threshold comes in black, gold, and white. Choose the finish that suits the room — gold adds warmth to the ring, while black and white keep the geometry graphic and clean.

How does the chandelier attach to the ceiling?

It mounts to a standard ceiling junction box via the included canopy (D10 cm). It can also be wall-mounted using the included brackets — two installation options in one fixture.
